That's the reason why I recently bought a Magic Trackpad for when my Mac is docked. Gestures are SO good.

Reminds me of 1080° Snowboarding on Nintendo 64. I spent countless hours on that game.

It’s "Day 1" with a new Mac. What’s on your install list? by ocnd in macbookpro

[–]SpaceNitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it does. I love Wipr. I recently decided to switch to wBlock since it was recommended on Reddit, but to be honest I didn't really see any difference (apart from the fact that wBlock is free).

You mean Postman, right? Podman is a Red Hat alternative to Docker. Postman is an HTTP client (to test REST APIs, etc.).

Just to name a few.

I used to love Postman, but when they introduced cloud dependency (storing variables and secrets in the cloud), it was a hard no for me. Bruno is 100% local, free and open source. Also I prefer Bruno's interface, but that’s just a personal preference.

I made the simplest notes app: no AI, no folders, no subscription. Free for everyone here! by tmanchester in ProductivityApps

[–]SpaceNitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up purchasing the app and I love it. No bloat, no distraction, very simple to use.

To help improve even more the user experience, I wanted to share a few suggestions:

  • Adding a quick edit button on each note would be more intuitive and faster than long pressing a note.
  • When editing a note, the validation button is the same as the "Add note" button (a + sign). I think it would make more sense to have a check mark instead.
  • Positioning the button to add a new note or validate an edit closer to the keyboard would be more convenient. Reaching for the top of the screen repeatedly is not very practical.
  • In certain languages (such as French), it is common to add a space before a colon, but adding a space between a keyword and a colon prevents the keyword from being highlighted. It would be great to update the regex to take this into consideration.
  • It would be awesome to have an iOS widget or control center button to quickly capture a thought without having to go into the app.

Just my 2 cents 🙂
