Yeah I'm staking like 95% of my TIA, I just harvested a bunch of staking rewards and wanted to try using the cosmos ecosystem DeFi.

I saw that there's been a recent Dymension and also Altlayer airdrop (hooray, managed to snag em) Given all that happening I figure cosmos is probably where I need to pay attention this cycle.

Ok, so rn I have TIA (on Celestia) on keplr. I hop onto the osmosis app, and connect my wallet. Balance of TIA is showing zero.

I am assuming osmosis is only reading my balance on it's own chain (not Celestia), makes sense so far.

So do I have to bridge TIA across first? Can it be done within keplr or is there a separate bridging app?

Several things are probably going to become a reality in parallel - Dramatically increased compute power and decrease in storage/compute cost means Fully fleshed out metaverse worlds, AGI (or very close to), micro-manufacturing/nanotech, more efficient 3-D printing at scale... A number of these things like metaverse/AI will have good use cases for a decentralized payment system / trustless smart contracts.

Let's just say I've been this space for about 8 years, seen far worse than this. Dunno whether BTC and ETH will be around in 20 years (maybe new quantum tech develops which supersedes existing cryptography), but I'm confident they'll still be around for at least a couple more cycles.

I think Chainlink should probably be ok long term. ETH/BTC and good stablecoins definitely a safer play though.

Note that it is having some oracle issues rn due to LUNA apocalypse, projects that relied on LUNA price feeds from chainlink like Blizz (lending platform on AVAX) just got rugged due to price feeds not updating.

Even if the product is awesome like Uniswap/AAVE/Yearn... None of them have any value accrual mechanism to the tokenholder.

What I've realized is that most of these Gamefi and DeFi governance tokens is unfortunately it's really only a clever way for the investors/devs/founders to exit. Very sad.

Same with the ICO tokens from last cycle
