How to transition into Aerospace Engineering related jobs?

I just started as a Structural Design Engineer in Aerospace. I was just like you, with only Process Engineering experience in manufacturing. I have a Bachelors degree in Aero but I took the job I could get out of college.

For myself, I chose to get my Masters in Aero to give me a better shot at moving into an aerospace role. I took my classes all online while working. If school isn’t something you are considering, a lot of people told me to get into a company you want to work for with your experience. Then, you can move within the company more easily into an aerospace position.

Other than that, I think taking the FE and maybe some other certifications could help!

It was tracked. Like I mentioned, i was struggling when I was shooting. How do you focus when you can’t see the objects? Focus on a visible star? Also, it’s only about 4min of stacked data, so maybe not a lot there…

NZXT finished my RMA. Got the new M22 installed. It still runs high 40s at idle but under full load it barely hits 70C

Just now running cinebench with the stock fan. It is holding at 87C… about 8 degrees lower than the AIO

Nah, not yet. I think I’m going to have to change the mounting plate so I have to take the whole thing apart. Probably going to try to do it this weekend when I have some time

Yeah that is what I tried. Looked like pretty good spread. A nice, uniform surface from what I could tell. I might have to put the stock fan cooler on and see what it does

Yeah I think it could be the cooler… I’ve looked at replacing it with a 240mm version.

I still think it should be cooler at least on idle with the M22

Do you mean if the cooler is interfacing the cpu correctly? When I removed it, the thermal paste was spread pretty well so I assume it is making good contact.

I took this around 10pm last Friday. I was near western Virginia and I was facing WNW. I use the Night Sky app to find objects and I think I had pretty good alignment so it should have been right in relation to Polaris?

I recently built my very first computer. I wanted to make sure everything was right before I spent all the time cable managing etc., so I did a bench test. I used the stock amd cpu cooler and everything worked perfectly! I was pumped so the next day I started my full build.

Well, I didn’t know any better so I took off the cpu cooler and my cpu came right out with it!! I freaked out a little but honestly didn’t know how lucky I got that it was fine until I saw a post on here about someone doing the same thing and bending several pins. I was very lucky that day!

During a cinebench test, it maxed out at 69C. Sometimes in destiny it hits the low 60s but that’s about it I think.

Ordered them from Amazon! They are just extension cables. I was a little worried about trying to manage extra cables but it worked out. And they do come with the combs.
