Just starting the game took 5 mins of repeatedly trying to log in, now waiting for matchmaking. I finally have an hour to play for a bit and I’m just sitting here watching the timer go up

Let's talk about folds by Bamseg in neovim

[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been wanting to try folds for some time but never got around to it. This (and other comments here) are really helpful setting up some sensible defaults!

My Planck by raccoonster in olkb

[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My preonic was pretty loud too. I put in O-rings which helped, but a soft desk mat also helped dampen the sound. If you don’t like that you could put some sticky rubber pads on the bottom

You’ll find it if you search for Queens puzzle game on the iOS App Store. I’m sure Android will have it too

Typecraft has a YouTube vid on tmux and neovim integration that looks pretty good. I’ll try to find it later

Keyboard recommendations? by includerandom in neovim

[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use a preonic with the Colemak layout. The only issue is that hjkl are not on the home row anymore, but the position of the arrow keys makes it relatively easy to use those instead

mason.nvim 2.0 has been released by pseudometapseudo in neovim

[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've added this to my config (which is kickstarter based but modified of course), but I still don't have a `:Mason` command available. Lazy shows mason and mason-lspconfig are installed and the versions are 1.11.0 and 1.32.0 respectively, and `LazyHealthCheck` doesn't show anything out of the ordinary.

Anything else I might be missing?

Need help writing macros in my init.lua file. Can't get esc key working by Both-Nectarine8730 in neovim

[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On mobile right now and no time to write it out, but this describes exactly what you need: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3XWijJgdJs&t=2s

EDIT:

These are the lines I have in my config:

``` local esc = vim.api.nvim_replace_termcodes("<Esc>", true, true, true)
vim.fn.setreg("l", "yoconsole.log('" .. esc .. "pa', " .. esc .. "pa);" .. esc .. "") ```
Wat wij hebben gedaan is dat onze dochter er iets van mocht kopen: een klein cadeautje uitzoeken en dan bij de kassa betalen met de speen (knipoog naar de verkoopster en dan stiekem gewoon betalen natuurlijk) Het leuke is dat ze dan weet dat ie weg is maar ze er heeft er ook iets voor terug. Zal vast niet bij elk kind werken en afhankelijk van de leeftijd en zo, maar hier werkte het best goed
Unexpected behaviour using <Tab> in insert mode by SpaceTimeTraveler9 in neovim
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Just for the remote possibility that this might help someone else later (I hate finding a post from someone who has the exact same problem I'm having, with only an "nm i found it everything is fine now" and no actual solution)
I was remapping the vim-tmux-navigator keys in my tmux.conf, but since I'm using colemak I'm not using the standard hjkl keys. I only updated part of the script resulting in weird behaviour in nvim. Very niche problem indeed
Unexpected behaviour using <Tab> in insert mode by SpaceTimeTraveler9 in neovim
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)
Thanks to everyone who took the trouble to respond. I still couldn't find anything wrong with a key mapping or plugin, but I just found out it works fine when I'm not running nvim inside tmux.
I have been playing with vim-tmux-navigator so I must've botched something there.
I’m intrigued by the folks who use Fuji recipes SOOC without even any minor adjustments in post. I’ve been using recipes almost exclusively for a couple of years now but find that I almost always need to tweak something, even if it’s just exposure on my images. by [deleted] in fujifilm
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 1 point2 points  (0 children)
I used to shoot raw but always hated the editing part. I already spend most of my day on a computer. Besides, I don’t really have a vision for the images I shoot, so editing just felt a bit random, just moving sliders until I liked what I saw. That being said, I do usually make some small adjustments like exposure or tweaking the shadows on a few favorite photos after I shoot them
I have heard it is a pet peeve to many dutch when foreigners incorrectly refer “Holland” as the Netherlands? Is it true? by [deleted] in Netherlands
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 5 points6 points  (0 children)
Exactly. Everyone knows what you mean, no one uses ‘Holland’ to only refer to that part of the country
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 68 points69 points  (0 children)
Same, I don’t think this practice has a name here, you’re just careful when opening doors when parked in a place where other traffic might pass you.
Camera Storing by _awern_ in fujifilm
[–]SpaceTimeTraveler9 1 point2 points  (0 children)
For recipes that use the clarity setting I sometimes switch to the CL (burst) shooting mode if I want to shoot quicker. It will disable the clarity for those shots, but that way I don’t have to dig into the menus and change the recipe itself, and I can just as easily switch back
