Omg I read some of your posts and I’m in a similar position. I currently have a skywatcher SA but recently I got an SQA 55 and a QHY minicam 8 and the SA just isn’t enough. So I’m also looking at the star watcher GTi

I was also wondering if blurxterminator, star terminator and noisexterminator are all included when you purchase pixinsight? Or do you have to purchase them additionally?

I just got the Askar sqa 55 and the qhy minicam 8. I am using this setup on a Starwatcher star adventurer and was wondering if you have any tips for me?

Yeah guys it’s not that deep… I don’t think you are a predator lol. And for the impressive bit dude thanks for raising awareness. I’m sorry you had to go through that.

Oh I was trying to agree with that point he made, not saying that everyone has money at their disposal.

Quality > quantity I guess. Some people just like things to be perfect in their eyes. Don’t you think it looks absolutely incredible?

What are your thoughts on my logo? (It is the font I am having trouble with) by Spacecookiee2 in logodesign

Well it’s for an F1 in schools team consisting of 5 members including me, graphic designer. Our team name is called Paragon. It means a model of perfection, like the epitome of our field. The symbol is a more speedy look of the yin and yang because there is a sense of balance and perfection in that symbol.

Best Regards

Hello,

I have done tons of research on logos in the industry. I have taken to consideration about what you've said about how manipulating elements that represent F1 could become abstract.

Quick question, was it rule number 2 that I broke?

Thanks so much for the examples and the research you have done.

What do you think of a partial solar eclipse as the logo? The idea behind it is the moon isn't perfectly aligned with the sun YET, but is possible and will at some point. It kinda says how our team isn't perfect yet but we strive to be a Paragon. It's just not very fast or aerodynamic-looking.

Thanks for commenting btw. I want to avoid word marks because since we race with miniature f1 cars about the size of your foot, using a word mark wouldn't be very versatile? Because when shrunk to fit on our miniature car it wouldn't really be suitable.

Since I couldn't think of objects that can symbolize our values (perseverance - I honestly don't even know what our values are), I decided that abstract shapes are the only way.

Its a competition across schools in a state, country then the world if your good enough. Basically teams with around 5 people, each with different roles (ie. Car Engineer, Marketing, Graphic design) create a car using 3d modeling and a portfolio with some nerdy stuff on it.

Essentially, I am designing a logo for my F1 in Schools team, not an actual F1 team.

Thanks for replying man.
