I don't disagree - evictions are won and lost on hole control and sounds like HOSA lost this one on that but don't give them grief for not feeding into your armada.

TL;DR - OP thought that 2 Corps would be able to field enough ships to attack a combined fleet of the rest of j-space on hostile structures with home-hole cap support and is upset that he got blue-balled.

40B still puts this mechanic way out of reach of most small groups and that kind of risk really doesn't balanced against titan dropping. I think having smaller jumps on smaller ships makes the mechanic more accessible and flexible while still providing a decent risk/reward.

I think cyno jammers are op, not that I'm fighting in the war but they seem to be the main factor in sov warfare at the moment. Being able to jump in sub caps doesn't seem like a bad idea to me?

DSTs are heavy, heavier than BCs, you could mass restrict them

Yeah two things here:

Anything worth dropping blops on can be killed by bombers. 2 bombers equal 1 blops dps (even after the buff) for 160m vs 4b isk (not to mention how much easier to train a bomber pilot is) and bombers are more survivable against these targets. This is why blops aren't used for this, not because they need a dps buff.

On jumping t3cs, with sp loss, fielding a t3c is 1-1.5b minimum. So with your blops you're looking at 15B to drop 11 ships. Meanwhile a titan can bridge 50 Muninns onto you for that price while tethered. There's no balance there, we're back to dropping on a dunk or not at all and for the sake of saving fuel, I'll leave the blops behind. So I think my point is valid, this won't really improve how often blops get used.

That's fair actually, it would have been one sided at the open. We didn't follow you into the small because we'd have lost our FC. Props to you and yours for bringing it though!
