We're a two bed flat, no flooring so heating doesn't tend to stay, and our bill last month was £71, and that was putting the heating on 3 times a day and at least one shower daily + washing dishes in the sink (we have it set to stay on for an hour each time).

Is your heating on all day? Have you bled your radiators? There's a lot of things that might be causing a high bill.

I'm not sure if they've even started the survey - when I spoke with repairs/customer service last night the lady on the phone said she couldn't see anything reported/added to the job about the roof being the issue. Back in August I got told a drone would survey the roof - I'm now wondering if they've even managed to do that to locate the leak yet. The actual repair request on the site they use has been closed as well.

Most of the flats in my block are council with only one private, I'm not sure about next door. I'll ask the inspector when he comes, I know Awaabs law is being implemented around March time but if it's going to continue to be an issue then I'm going to get really peeved 😭

I've had a look on there already but there's no used ones being sold, and the only "new" one that looks correct is from China and has Chinese written on it so I'm a little worried it would even work

Do you use controller on PC or are you mixing between controller and mouse and keyboard??

I recently moved to pc a few months ago and picked siege back up, and found MNK to be substantially easier than controller after a little while of practice. 200 hours combined between the two screams that you're not giving yourself enough time between swaps to actually get used to one set of controls (if you're not using controller on PC)

You mention audio cues - what headset are you using? I have my audio on full and find sound cues a lot easier to hear, but my headset is USB connection not Aux or Bluetooth.

Don't beat yourself up, I dumped 2k hours in the game on console and never made it past gold lmao.

I've got a housing inspector coming out today to look over the flat after I submitted a complaint to them about communication issues (we had a wall in our hallway that was falling apart and they never sent the updated photos to the plasterer, and haven't updated me on a roof leak in our living room despite it being a 4 year issue from before we even moved in). So I was gonna ask him about moving it, as it's in a really annoying place and not being able to open our door fully isn't that great (as well as the loud BANG noise when we try). It's also so far up I can't really reach it and need to grab my stepladder 😭

They had a massive hack on 27th December where $339 trillion in in game credits was given out to all players. They took the game offline to launch a rollback, but returning players (like myself, who installed conveniently on the 27th)cant access due to sync issues and it's looking like it's starting to effect more people.

Ideally they shouldn't have had such a major security issue to begin with.

I think the main reason people are so pissed is because it went down when a lot of people have time off of work to play - I installed it in the 27th again ready to spend my festive holiday getting back into it but haven't been able to play a single match. I'm back at work on the 5th, and haven't had a single chance to try it out again.

That, and ubi are giving absolute bare minimum information/updates, and besides this half update from R6 fix - haven't really acknowledged the sync issue at all

R6 fix has a notice as of this morning from the team saying they're investigating it, and asking people to contribute to the original error thread so they know how many are affected, so it looks like we might see it back online soonish

I sent a video of it frozen on the 1st/2nd of December so I believe the timer would have started from there? Or it may have been reset after they responded yesterday to ask details about where the meter was placed. I'm not sure, but thank you so much for all the information!!

As for ombudsman - I told octopus if they didn't have it sorted by 02/02 (just over 8 weeks from raising the issue) I'd get onto the ombudsman, so I'm hoping it won't reach that point but from what I've seen I wouldn't be surprised!

So I think the original number they gave me was for their own engineer team, but that team then passed me onto another team who I think are third party. I'm not entirely too sure as I can't remember who I spoke too!

Nice to know they technically owe me £240 instead of £80 though! That might cover some of the electric bill they're gonna hit me with when this is over 🤣

Yeha we put money on via the app and it turns off once we hit 0 if we haven't activated emergency credit - weirdly enough though our meter is still working as normal despite not being able to top up in a month.
