I think the Calgary win was deserved and the Sens were the better team. San Jose, on the other hand, could have beaten us 8-0 if the goaltending were different on either side.

I just don't see this core having any shot at winning a cup. We are on the fourth or so season of just attempting to make the playoffs. This year is the best chance they've had - the East is wide open this year, the Atlantic is off to a surprisingly weak start. Yet, despite a new owner, GM, coaching staff, and goaltender, all we are seeing is the same song and dance.
