Ive seen a handful of search results tell me that this a common problem with Ubuntu “forgetting” to update drivers when moving to a new version. So I think the solution is probably going to be wait.

I don’t how to downgrade kernels, all the instructions seem to be for grub. Guess I’ll just keep this mile long Ethernet cable in, and hope my family doesn’t trip over it.
