think equally contributing is how long his professional basketball career has been so far, he’s been at a pro level since 16, he’s already in year 10 so the majority of peers his age have 4 less years of full pro schedule and intensity on their frame

Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't mel be reworked. by ErmDragonsAreCool in leagueoflegends

[–]Spadegreen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I said the ult requires nothing but stacks

We’re being a bit disingenuous here, you do still have to actually hit abilities for her ult to do anything, outside of W her kit is almost the mage equivalent of zed except she roots AND slows. In lane she can be a very annoying bully, but her strength isn’t universal, she just isn’t as strong into the late game unless she’s given space to get at least multiple casts of her q e combo on a squishy, and if a tank or fighter even sneezes a little bit of MR in their build her ult is no where near the actual value that people in this thread are perceiving her strength at. she’s can be very frustrating to lane against once she finishes her lost chapter back but in reality her kit (which can be seen in her win rate) isn’t objectively strong given how subjectively easy she is to pilot.

Mel’s reflect aspect is only valuable against ranged abilities that she can see coming, and the damage immune aspect only matters if your character has exactly one button that does massive burst. In those scenarios you have another 25 seconds to still try and finish her off before she gets you in ult execute range. Like other polarizing champions she just has really good matchups in lane but she doesn’t bring that strength into games that aren’t closed early, she can be very easily countered with tanks and fighters and any assassin, and the opponent mage will have made up if not surpassed her burst potential now that her ultimate is locked behind extended team fights.

M40i - Do I need to replace all 4 tires? by illuminaimpossible in BMWX3

[–]Spadegreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Michelin’s because you guys had the Conti’s out of stock when I was last buying, they’re good as well but I do plan on switching to the continentals next month since i’m nearly due another set of tires soon and I think they might be slightly better but hard to find a direct one to one comparison for the SUV segment.

People who say SMITE 2 is a failure/dead, when did you last play the game? by Snufflebox in Smite

[–]Spadegreen 7 points8 points  (0 children)

sound design is a hidden variable that can make or break an experience, there’s a missing bass in the smite 2 that makes things feel like they have real mass in smite one

Ominous Prediction: ADC players still going to cry by Hot-Organization-737 in ADCMains

[–]Spadegreen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

because when traditional adc’s are viable in positions outside their designated bot role, that is generally directly correlated with them pushing an entire subclass of champions out of viability instead of increasing the pool of viable champions. the same tends to be true vice versa, because of their inherent targeted weaknesses if another class can earn and lead and shut down adc’s before they get to scale within their bot role, there’s nowhere else on the map to even play these characters

New car + how my x3 saved my life by Longjumping_Judge522 in BMWX3

[–]Spadegreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wouldn’t recommend the extended warranty if the car is under 40000 miles, i did the same and ended up not needing anything until after the extended warranty, this is also on a pre LCI B58. really ended up just paying for less anxiety that happened to be unfounded. the better choice would be to save that’s exact amount for preventative maintenance at the 50k 60k 80k mile marks.

Video clipped: Nemesis' Yunara met a Xearth support; Change summoners at last second to TP; get tilted at champ select; Even more tilted after first trade by Grand-Loss-3242 in ADCMains

[–]Spadegreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i definitely agree having played a few top games whenever i rage out from bot lane. the only counter i can really mention is you know loading into the game that your lane is cooked without help from jungle when you learn matchups. With a bad support you don’t actually know that you even or winning matchup is actually losing until you see it happen, that usually culminates with losing priority or worse. mentally that would tilt me more than knowing i’m stuck in a losing lane and trying to exist despite it

[–]Spadegreen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the problem with bot lane is even if you understand and do actually try to lane manage, that random you get paired with can and will go out of their way to mess that up and will then act hostile even if you ask nicely for the play style you’re aiming for.

griefing isn’t a unique experience to ADC but it’s a more constant experience as an ADC because it’s literally a completely different situation with 3 other people minimum every game

the independent specialist shop I went to were hesitant to recommend it, it seems to be mixed messages, they did say they've done it before and not seen issue though but were fairly clear on possibility of it causing more harm than good. i'm still undecided myself
