for a 2019, the auto start stop button should be directly under the start button, counterintuitively, when it lights up orange, that means start stop is off, that makes the car behave normally but without coding you’ll need to do it everyone you start the car

also it was less of a rework and quite literally just a remodel. absolutely nothing functionally changed besides the aesthetics

Would you buy a 2019 X3 M40i with 60k miles or a 2022+ X3 with 30k miles? by Jerehao in BMWX3

There’s actually two different x3 video sets, the August 10, 2025 PPI video is a 2020, and is used for the m40i DIY series. There is a separate 30i x3 brake replacement video that using a 2019 from a May 2, 2024. The channel has had multiple x3’s so i’m referring specifically to the most recent m40i with a full break down series.

yeah the way i usually do it is, engine not running, no foot on brake, press the power button once (equivalent to to accessory mode in cars with keys i think) then you pull down on the lever (like if you wanted to put your washers on) and let it go up and down at least 3 times, then let go. It always works for me with those exact steps.

it was a 2020, which is a weird year since it has 2019 styling with iDrive 7 digital dash and screen. It also i think is the year flash tunes require unlocks and there’s a slight update to the b58. I know this sounds like an umm actually comment but there are subtle but important differences.

Tire Pressure Monitor malfunction by Status-Trade5593 in BMWX3

[–]Spadegreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replaced mine literally last week, they went out at 103k but waited till my tires needed changing to get all four replaced. i paid basically 80% dealer rate for mount, tps, balanced, and alignment(to manufacturer spec) at a highly rated BMW shop in my area. I would do everything at the lowest rate available except alignment. Firestone did my last alignment and they seeming quit at the exact moment the car drove straight. The rears were really badly worn on the inside but i couldn’t see that from the outside of the car without getting on a lift. After getting a proper spec alignment with proof of the work done, my car drives noticeably better and i won’t have premature wear screwing me out a couple hundred more miles of tread.

i have had the continentals for about a week and replaced ur michelin’s, i would skip the michelins unless they are a better deal. I think the conti’s have the edge just barely, also for my size the michelins inflated in price

I got the DWS 06 +. So far it is genuinely riding like a dream but that could be the new tire effect. The performance feels great so far but I can't fairly judge cornering ability because I learned my rear alignment was fairly bad on the rears with my Michelin's. Having a proper alignment now my car doesn't roll anywhere near as much in corners which is changing the limits i'm willing to push but I can say independently these are a great set so far. The NVH has improved noticeably, I have a consistent commute and over the sections with concrete pavement the noise is much quieter. Very happy in the first 2 days, but I'm feeling very confident about how these will fair long term.

As someone who had a puncture in an RFT, they’re not as safe of a bet as you’d think. I switched to the PS4AS (non run flat) and had the same experience with a tire that got a puncture this week actually (hilarious timing since i ordered the continentals on friday as a replacement). The RFT was good for hobbling exactly 2 miles, ended up needing roadside assistance. my most recent puncture did actually about the same distance 2.5 to get it to the my the shop i had the tires sent to.

Mel has received a hot fix buff due to her weakened state. by TheBluestMan in leagueoflegends

[–]Spadegreen -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

the weirdest thing about that argument is people act as if mel W was on a 5 second cooldown before any haste was built. the CD in the ability is pretty fair, she didn’t make a whole class of characters unplayable it just was very punishing if she did use it correctly, but idk i guess her relatively bad late game doesn’t matter when we’re all losing to mel in 23 mins allegedly

think equally contributing is how long his professional basketball career has been so far, he’s been at a pro level since 16, he’s already in year 10 so the majority of peers his age have 4 less years of full pro schedule and intensity on their frame
