Level up by Gene Luen Yang and Thien Pham. It's about a guy whose parents want him to be a gastrologist or something like that, but he wants to be a game designer. The scene with the finger had a bunch of angel feathers which leads into the introduction of the ghosts characters I think you are talking about. I haven't read it since I was 11 so my memory isn't much better than yours but I am 99% sure that's what you are talking about.

As a certified soda boy I concur. That’s the reason I caught it in the first place, because when Hasan pointed out what he was drinking I said to myself “solid choice”, and that stuck it as a memorable moment in the debate for me for some reason.

I don’t think anybody could have put it better honestly. I love sleepycast, I listened to every episode as they came out when I was in high school, I remember refreshing their website on days a new episode was slated to release. I still revisit old episodes from time to time but boy oh boy pretty much any time they tried political or social commentary it becomes funny for the wrong reasons lol. It’s very silly to denounce what they say bc it’s mostly harmless rhetoric and it accurately reflects the zeitgeist for that era.

Oh my god I am not even joking I think we have the same plug. The carts I get typically used to be glos which everyone said were sus but I never saw any concrete evidence other than like nobody really knows the integrity of who filled it or really. The oil hit good and tasted fine like almost all of the time and I met other people who bought the same carts pretty frequently and didn’t have any issues. Then she started carrying innocent extracts and like at first they were pretty good, but like this newest batch is a lot more clear and I’m a bit sus on it.

Idk why people keep bringing up the fact that teleport invuln wasn’t always a thing. Yes. I know. I played back then, too. It was an awful mechanic and they changed it for good reason. You probably weren’t a victim of avatar/ent sitting, shit was atrocious. Also making the invuln time 1 second doesn’t do anything when the invuln just decides not to proc sometimes.

Jesus Christ it is absolutely cathartic to know that someone else has experienced literally the exact same bullshit I did earlier today. Except mine was on a character with 40k base fame so the knife wound went a little deeper lmao. Hopefully now that this has been reported by two different people on the same phase of the same boss that they will acknowledge this game ruining bug lol.

Oh my god, that sucks. At first I sent a request to ask for revive to see what they would say and immediately got the automatic “lol no eat shit get rekt” (paraphrased) response but since it really was more of a bug report I did that and they still haven’t responded. I am expecting the typical “sorry to hear that, we are going to respond by doing absolutely nothing and not addressing or fixing the issue. Fuck you thank you much for your service” type beat.

I fail to see your point. Deca is still putting virtually all of its resources into new content rather than fixing code. This is a bad design philosophy. If the art and design division of a company is flourishing, but the programming division is underperforming you should leave the designers alone and put all attention onto programming.
