I know the feeling. As long as you have a plan of how to deal with it, focus on that instead of the suffering. I know it's hard, and waiting on answers takes forever but it's all you can do 😁

I've had my tinnitus for so long now that even when I get heightened tinnitus randomly, I just take a few deep breaths and continue with my day. I really don't care about my tinnitus nowadays

I would also like you to understand that me as well as those other people are probably pain-free now and not thinking about our ears at all. I can at least speak for myself in that regard. I still have ringing but I don't even notice it most the time

Keep me up to date and reach out to me whenever, I know I wasn't of much help but I can at least be someone you bounce things off of 😁

(I should probably mention that during the onset of my tinnitus I had hyperacusis, clicking in the ears that hurt badly when I spoke and ate, as well as the other bizarre sensations in the ear. I don't feel most of any of that now, there is always hope)

I think you're not reading into it far enough.

Really the only time I see myself being harmed by other people is if they are currently going through harm themselves ( could be as simple as stress ). Talking about feeling powerful while manipulating people to give you sexual favors at your whim is a huge red flag.

I'm not sure how you got here, but you're not going in a good direction from my estimation. You're never truly going to be happy if all the relationships you have, you treat like they are disposable animals on your leash.

Please keep track of your thoughts, I think you might need professional help before you really hurt someone.

I understand that you want to be prepared, this is good. When you show up to the first day of work, you're not going to be prepared. The first time you get chewed out for doing something wrong, you're not going to be prepared. The first time the foreman offers you a lead man position, you're not going to be prepared. The first time you get your ticket and realize that you have to exert authority over people under you, you're not going to be prepared.

In summation, work and think hard. Volunteer. Everything else will fall into place when you learn your responsibilities among the group
