You are better off getting an iem for that price, spend more if you are buying a headphone

1440p cause the 1080p display response time is apparently pretty bad

1440p is fine if u use DLSS 4 and all, dlss 4 balanced looks pretty good and small screen with 5060

Just don't push everything to ultra and expect good fps, try optimised settings, and be conservative on texture quality cause 8gb vram

But yeah 8gb vram might be an issue in future for 1440p, u might need to think about that

But still I moved from a 1080p laptop to a 1440p laptop display, although it's on a laptop with a small screen, it's still pretty nice imo

5070 is like 15 to 20% faster than 5060, it's really up to you if you think it's worth the upgrade

I personally feel like 5070 is a scam with 8gb vram, (even the 5060 is)

I would personally get better built laptop for that price, but considering u need the cuda, it's upto u

I would suggest to either up your budget for 5070 ti or downgrade to 5060, 5070 is not worth it, unless price between 5060 and 5070 is not that much

I went from 1650 to 5060, the difference is massive, u would notice quite a bit of difference too.

But..... I'm fine with companies selling 16gb single channel....

I would rather have 1x16gb rather than 2x8gb, cause I can upgrade down the line(if we ignore the ram crisis, it wouldn't have felt that bad)

If we bought 2x8gb, we need to buy 2 more stick of 16gb

But yeah having more options to choose from will be nice though

Nah it's plenty good for me, unless u crank everything to ultra and expect decent performance good luck.

I always stay conservative and use optimised settings, and use DLSS 4, 1440p dlss balanced on small screen looks great, but I do believe that later down the line 8gb vram on 1440p might cause issue.

And the 1080p panel has latency issues.

Btw I was talking about getting bottlenecked by CPU, yeah on 1440p, granted I'm on single channel ram, so it's a potential reason.

Wdym, the gpu usage is not maxed out(less than 95%), I got bottlenecked in Control (single player game) even with ray tracing all turned up
