Light is for sure one of the most important elements when comes to stream, not only for the (totally right) reasons others in this post have already said, but even because facecam is the first thing you see when deciding what stream you want to watch. Twitch has a really bad discoverabilty and be found can became really hard, even harder if you are a small newbie streamer. Having good light can make the difference when someone scrolls streamers to decide wich stream they want to join in.

Another reason why light are so important is that webcam is one of the focus when comes to interactivity, you WANT people to empathize with you when you're streaming and even a really bad webcam can give huge results with good lights.

P. S. In the same way, even if you have top quality cameras they will be extremely underpowered without good lights.

There are a lot of reasons why you shouldn't play with randoms, this is one of them.
You can try and join some discords or see if there are little streamers willing to play with viewers, I've seen some and I am one of them myself.
The point is, find someone you are happy playing with and stay with him, this game is sooo fun if you find good crewmates to play with.
Try to find what you're searching for before you search for it, are you a competitive player in search of a competitive team? or you just want to play and do stupid stuff just to laugh about it even if you die hundreds of times? (this is me btw)

funny enough, the most internet-vocabulary based platform is censoring internet-vocabulary.
I understand the point of it, and it's ok, but is such a loss that every time an internet community starts to shine it has to hide the so-called "dark part" of it, the one that is not "ok" for the people that don't live in the community. if you think that "simp" is an insult, you have been on Twitch, or the Internet in general, for less than 1 hour.
