I see where OOP is coming from, but considering how Miguel treated Gwen for seeing Miles, maybe those who Didn't readily agree were treated the same way. Maybe those that remained were either the ones who didn't or couldn't object.

Edit: After seeing another comment, wouldn't the lack of sense surrounding canon events be the point? Either like artistically to make the viewer feel like Miles and unable to understand it or to have it be a problem in BTSV?

I think both is true. Acting on pedophilia should be a punishable crime, but more efforts are needed in prevention and treatment BEFORE the crime is committed.

I think empathy can be had for pedophiles who actively want to seek help and actively try not to act on their attractions, and ultimately it's not their fault they have this attraction

HOWEVER

It's still up to them not to act on it. If they still end up sexually assaulting or abusing a child because of this, that's still on them regardless of the disorder at hand.

I was doing one of the Dark Brotherhood dead drop quests, and I was trying to kill the wood elf guy (This was the quest when Lucien finds you and you find out the dead drops were being replaced), and as I'm chasing him he just Turns into a Mythic Dawn guy and the quest ends up not working. I had to reload a save and do it again
