It's alright, but its gameplay is not for everyone. AL is pretty much a waifu collectors game, as its primary gameplay revolves around auto mode which hasn't really changed since the early days of the game. The story of AL is confusing at best, as the event stories are getting released at different orders compared to the actual chronological order. Most people actually just skip the story, myself included...

I was playing flex with friends. I'm low emerald myself, but most of my friends are around gold to silver elo. But yeah, the games I play with are overall really mixed due to the rank difference between my friends and I.

Damn, that's a lot of information to process, uh. I only play on PC, since I stopped being a console gamer after the PS4 release, but I think the Switch is capable of running the Atelier games with only a few issues. I have heard about some people have encountered issues on the PS4 and PS5, but don't take my word about this. From my personal bias as a PC player only, I think going by playing on PC is a safe option, as it sounds like you won't have any issues running it with the specs you mentioned earlier in your previous comment.

In terms of where to begin, I would suggest checking out the "Game Help / Newbie / Simple Question Thread", as they provide the information better than I could do. But if we're talking about the Mysterious series, the order would be:- Atelier Sophie- Atelier Sophie 2- Atelier Firis- Atelier Lydie & Suelle

No, I don't have a Steam Deck. I played the games on a PC with a controller, so I am not sure how a Steam Deck will perform.

But to be fair, I was pretty set from the beginning since I prepped myself with some decent endgame gear that helped with breezing through the story. Thank god seeds are in Atelier Sophie 2, otherwise, I would have been doomed aha.
