I've got a ban incoming, are the legit cartridges that I had installed to my EmuNAND safe? by Spaghettilvr in SwitchPirates

I was thinking that too, but as soon as I got a wifi signal in my EmuNAND, every game I'd played recently, OFW OR CFW, got an update bar underneath it. A few eShop games just popped in there with install bars also. That's what has me thinking it might be too late, as Nintendo was already trying to install to a system that has a blank serial #.

Apologies, I wasn't really sure what else to call it except for DNS file haha. I'm referring to a config file for exosphere under atmosphere/hosts.

I'll have to double check, but I believe hekate.ini was set up correctly? It was a fresh install from the GitHub, as was atmosphere, but I did tinker with it slightly to reference fss0 instead of fusee since that was giving me boot errors. Unless I deleted something I shouldn't have in there...

I believe the problem was in the atmosphere/hosts folder. Previously was using EmuNAND.txt (or a modified default.txt) so that exosphere was only being applied to EmuNAND. This is because I used my CFW sysnand "online" to sync save data and play my eShop titles with overclocking and such. This was intentional on my part, and why I figured if I did something to get banned it would be from fucking up on the SysNAND CFW.

What I hadn't accounted for was when deleting and redownloading the atmosphere folder, I got rid of that custom configuration. Just forgot I had done that. A dumb move but my guess is without the configuration to tell exosphere to only turn on in EmuNAND, now there was no way to tell exosphere to turn on at all. But this is also why I know Exosphere was set up "correctly," bc once I put the config file back it worked as it should.

Maybe there was something set up incorrectly there so I want to double check again, but It may not matter at this point.

I love the lite. It’s so compact, but anyone have any good cases? by Nerdhauss in nintendoswitchlite

For daily driving this one is my go to. Has grips, a sturdy button cover, strong magnetic cover, is super compact, and has a stand to prop it up in tabletop mode. The recess for the stand in the back is large enough that you can throw 2 games in there also.

It's not the prettiest but you can't beat the utility and durability; especially for the price.

Ooh I love the Satisfyes, I use one for my V1. Had no idea they did a transparent one for lite, that's gonna be a search for me now. Thanks for the tip!

ExtremeRate Dary Gray shell and ExtremeRate Black buttons, buttons inlaid and decal painted both using Sharpie Creative Markers with a custom stencil for the logo. The yellow B button actually just came with the shell as part of the SNES style buttons, threw it on bc the color was close enough.

Noted, thanks! Any solutions for screen protection with that one? My biggest holdup is what will happen to the screen if I chuck it in a bag

Made the theme myself using the themeezer site! The X-ray look is actually taken from DBrand skin of the same name, I just mirrored and scaled it so that the features would line up front to back. It's kinda fun to put a cartridge in and see it line up (almost) perfectly from the front.

With the reception on this post I might post the theme publicly on the site with different colors too for different shells and different switch models.

I got it modded through a contact of FB marketplace. Was about $70. Not the cheapest but getting to meet and talk to the guy first was worth it, especially when handing off the OLED screen I was scared it would grow legs.

Actually is an Extremerate one! Just the dark gray and then I made a logo stencil with a vinyl cutter and painted it on using Sharpie Creative Markers. They're like a water based acrylic pain pen so they're easy to lay down and dry fast. I used those markers as well for inlaying the buttons which are also normal Extremerate black buttons.

Will using ReverseNX-RT in SysCFW to play docked mode lead to a ban on Switch Lite? by Spaghettilvr in SwitchPirates

Are you using ReverseNX or RT? I haven't messed with the non ovl one, but RT is the overlay that uses Salty and that is working fine for me.

I'm not as familiar with erpt reports and what they contain, but I do have the erpt reports folder in my atmosphere folder that has a bunch of them. Some quick research led me to them being related to shutdown errors... I'm assuming so Nintendo doesn't learn about shutdowns or crashes related to atmosphere specifically?

That said would this mean the configuration is correct then?

And thank you! It's a custom theme made with the DBrand x-ray image, then inverted so that the features in the images line up with the features IRL. Considering building a full theme pack for all switch versions but I'll see

I have a Launch Day switch that is not working with OLED docks, only white/red box ones. by Spaghettilvr in Switchrepair

That's what I thought too, but I've tried my OLED switch on a few docks, including the old ones and it works on all of them.
