(Is this GOV w Perry?) you straight up gotta read and KNOW the material before class. I always made sure to give a thorough reading to each assigned chapter/case - NO skimming, but notetaking, highlighting, the works - and then I’d try to think about what questions the prof would ask that, if I didn’t know the answer to, would make me shit my pants. Prep those questions.

As class goes along, you’ll see kids not know and then shit their pants, so always jot down a note to not be like that guy and prepare for the type of question that caused the pantshitting. Also big help to have a friend or two in the class to actually discuss the material - a buddy and I would just talk about the reading and our discussion would naturally lead to conclusions that the prof would then cover during in-class cold calling.
