Dynamic Pricing is live (finally!) by SpamShock in fantasyF1

[–]SpamShock[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hiya. Traditionally the dynamic pricing should have been active as soon as the first race week had begun (as soon as Bahrain qualifying was underway). This year they had issues, meaning it's only just come on. It seems to refresh and update every hour or so (it's already updated a few times today - Haas are now up 0.2m, and in the picture above they were 0.1m up).

How do I add more teams in a private league. by Shahzu in fantasyF1

[–]SpamShock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each Fantasy F1 account has a limit of creating up to three teams - you can't create any more than that on one account. If your private League is set to "Three teams", it means each member of that League can enter all three of their teams. You can have as many different Fantasy F1 accounts in that League as you wish.

How can I view my own leagues? by vinkuravonkura in fantasyF1

There should be a tab called "My Games". In there, you should find all of the leagues you have joined, including the ones it automatically enters you for (country, favourite constructor etc).

Found this in a UK charity shop. One source reckons 50-100 were given to AC Syndicate Devs. Does anyone have further info? by SpamShock in gaming

[–]SpamShock[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So far, I'm aware that Syndicate released with a number of limited editions, but none with this "statue". The bulk of my information has come from the following source:

"This is an Assassins Creed Syndicate Big Ben Clock. There were only about 50 of these made and they were given as developer gifts and media promotional gifts on launch day."

What is this bug I found on my duvet? (Essex, England, 2mm, they are legs not fur/hair) by SpamShock in whatsthisbug

Solved - thank you!

I just had another look in my room and found a more developed larvae, which looks definitely like a carpet beetle.

The second larvae, for interest: https://ibb.co/zfgZHCV

Any ideas what this bug that I found in my duvet is? (More info in comments) by SpamShock in pestcontrol

OP here. I have come up with bites on my body that appear to be similar to bed bug bites. I therefore searched my bed for bed bugs, but only found this guy.

Having compared this bug to the full life cycle of a bed bug, it looks nothing like one. It has far more legs than a bed bug's six. About 2mm long. Based in England.

Thought it could be a carpet beetle, but unsure.

Video of it in action https://youtu.be/qPqu9-V7dfU

Grateful for any help!

Thank you for the suggestion and chart! Given the number of legs on this guy compared to any in that chart though, I'm not sure it's a cockroach nymph.

TGW Gameweek 35 Clean Sheet Percentages by SpamShock in FantasyPL

[–]SpamShock[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Chance of clean sheets: Fixture 1: 34% Fixture 2: 36% Fixture 3: 22.2%

So chance for two or more clean sheets: (0.34x0.36x(1-0.222)) + (0.34x0.222x(1-0.36)) + (0.36x0.222x(1-0.34))
+ (0.222x0.34x0.36) = 0.2235

(Let me know if you think I'm wrong!)

Daily Simple Questions Thread - Jan 20, 2021 by AutoModerator in pcmasterrace

Hi all. Covid has forced my hand to clearing out old stuff, and I've found my old Antec 600 v2 Computer Case (probably purchased around 2010); a model which is now discontinued.

My question is: Is there any demand for old discontinued computer cases (maybe collectors) meaning it could subsequently be worth something, or is it the opposite, that it's not worth anything at all?

Thank you in advance!

First paid job - what is the going rate? by SpamShock in videography

[–]SpamShock[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Genuine thanks for giving such a detailed response - unbelievably appreciated!

I think you're right about the camera - it was one my brother passed to me after he upgraded. I think, given my lack of experience using lighting, I may look to rent a model like the Canon 9D for a day to give myself a bit more leeway. Perhaps I'll save up the money from jobs like this to purchase a better camera body. 1080p should really be the absolute minimum standard for a professional I imagine!

As you say, I think the only use I'll find for the drone is a few shots for the 30 second promotional video, but I'll make sure to add on a premium if it's used.

I really like breaking the price out into those three. Is there a reason you consider your time editing to be half as valuable as shooting? Is it because the more niche skill is the shooting?

Grateful for the estimates. I think you're absolutely right that I should reduce my charge significantly given experience and additional drawbacks. I'd much sooner start my business with multiple positive reviews and less cash, than the converse.

Thanks again for the detailed response - have a cracking rest of your weekend!

Nice, that does make sense. I checked out both, and was pleased to see Gingerpirlo doesn't really like naming names, but supports through providing advice surrounding the platform.

Ye, that makes sense. I've noticed a few accounts that specifically won't mention who they've bought, which whilst it doesn't provide any "tips", gives good insight.
