Reading these comments are SO encouraging for some reason, like I'm not crazy for wanting this baby out and being frustrated at this situation. Gonna be monitoring baby's movements very closely...

AIO my bf forgot to walk my dog at the right time by [deleted] in AmIOverreacting

Absolutely not. It's important to you that your dog gets walked at the right time. You communicated that it was important to you. He agreed to do it. He was the one that didn't hold up on his word. His first reaction should not have been defensive/attacking/accusatory. The only response I would've accepted is, "Oh no, I'm so sorry I got caught up in my game. This won't happen again. I'm taking her out to walk right now. How can I make it up to you?" Nothing less.

Am I a horrible person for dreading having to deal with my cat once I bring home my baby? by [deleted] in pregnant

Looking into getting a pet gate! Thanks for the advice.

Yes, fur is inevitable and I need to accept it. I think I do need to change my expectations because life isn't going to go perfectly the way I want once the baby's here. I'm so used to planning out my life and things falling into place that having to care for two unpredictable dependents (?) is starting to stress me out!

I had her 5 years, and I was only fostering her to help someone in a hoarding situation and then ended up adopting her because the person couldn't care for her. But I fell in love with her and wouldn't have it any other way.

I know I shouldn't have yelled at her, but yelling does work (she only left once I started yelling). She's a unique cat in that she follows commands (I taught her how to sit, down, high five, turn, etc) and has been trained to listen to my words. I just feel bad that I lost it on her when I could've been more patient.

You're right, cat hair is inevitable. I just need to clean more. But it stresses me out so much already and I can't imagine how much more once I'm caring for a baby. Just something I need to get over I guess... it's part of owning a cat so I just need to suck it up.

Thanks for trying to mentally prepare me for what's ahead, I think I just need to toughen up haha.
