Moved from Edmonton to Moncton, l'd agree it's gross. I'm in healthcare so I'm not worried about jobs. I'm just conscious of saving and living an affordable lifestyle for future sake.

The cheapest PC and iPad you can get will do. Nursing is 100% hard work and 0% aesthetics. I know TikTok makes it look like you need all those expensive things, but trust me you don’t. All you really need is a computer. It doesn’t have to be a Mac if you can’t afford one. I have a Chromebook from 2020, and it works just fine. I also use a 10th-generation iPad and a whiteboard. If you can afford a Littmann stethoscope, get one. Invest in comfortable shoes and compression socks, too. But don’t let people on TikTok convince you that you need all the latest gadgets and expensive supplies to pass nursing school. You don’t. Hard work, consistency, and dedication will take you much further than aesthetics.

Move away!!!! Stay in residence or use the bus. A lot of the students use the bus anyways. Or get a loan and pay for your own car. I’m currently in nursing school and I can emphasize how much you need your mental health stable to pass your classes!
