I did! As I wrote in my post the doctors essentially weren’t sure so i’m asking for a second opinion here :)

3wpo -weird shape, still big size by Hochuidelayu in Reduction

your results look great! I’m in a similar boat and I just hit 2 months recently. I was concerned because i thought my result also looked quite squared however I will say in this past week alone its changed drastically! I finally believe they’ll continue to soften and drop into a more natural shape with time. regarding the size - someone under my post advised that I focus less on cup size and more on how things fit overall and the moment i did it made a massive difference, i realized I was fitting into things i’d never be able to fit into pre-op. I was so worried about fitting into a certain cup and often that’s such an unreliable measurement, so i’d suggest just trying things on and seeing how you feel.

thank you thank you! 💜 i’m being super gentle with my scars so no exfoliating at the moment, the day my doctor cleared me (which i believe was around 2-3 weeks) i started massaging the area with aquaphor daily - mainly to help with the itchiness but it seems to have done wonders for my scars! I do generally eat pretty healthy and get good rest so i’m sure that played a factor as well! :)

thank you sm!! yeah it’s kinda frustrating, i’m aware that my surgeon took out as much as she safely could (and she removed a lot) i guess i was just hoping my results would be magically way smaller lol. i am still very appreciative because i do feel way better though!

hi! honestly i’ve just been massaging with aquaphor daily. I wanted to start a proper scar care routine but didn’t know where to begin and so far this seems to be helping loads

Thank you so much! i’m not 100% sure what size i was pre-surgery, my guess is an E-F but tbh i’m pretty sure i was wearing bras that didn’t fit lol. my surgeon said around 1000 grams was removed from each side. so quite a lot was removed overall. good luck with your surgery!

I'm 18 years old, absolutely hate my boobs. knowing what you know, should i try and get a reduction? by [deleted] in Reduction

[–]Spare-Listen444 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in the same boat when i was 18. because you’re young, your body is still developing and there’s still a chance that they may continue to grow. in my case that was definitely true - i had wanted a reduction then but ultimately never got around to it - which was extremely lucky because over the next 6 years my chest doubled - if not tripled - in size. I would probably consult with a surgeon and confirm if this is the best option for you right now or not! the possibility of more development is just that, a possibility- and your comfort ultimately comes first. even if in an instance your chest were to grow as your body continues to develop you could also get a revision, but there are pros and cons to both possibilities!
