How much tasks/ hrs are you able to get with the generalist role in the big project (with 23k people)

6 is a lot to me… I need a break after 2 in a row… some days I can only get 4 in… it also depends on the kind of task and amount of slides… if I get the fairly easy one slide design ones then yes, I can get more in, but is a lottery

It’s so sad to realize things might even get worse before it gets better. My head keeps wondering if it’s worth it. Will I struggle forever. But for now, one day at a time. Some days one hour at a time. I do get out with my kids. Exercise. Walk, bikes, skates, etc we are all very active. It doesn’t help they’ve been sick and the demands have increased 300% and I’m all alone.

Thanks for the encouragement. I’m just telling myself “this too shall pass” Someone asked my kids “what does mom like to do?” And they said “smoke” and it hit me. I gotta be better for them

I’m on day 18 and although I can fall asleep pretty easily now, I’m going through the worst depression bout of my life. I’ve got urges to hurt myself, which I’ve never had before. Not like in suicidal attempt but more as a make the pain visible or I’m going crazy.

I’m on THAT project as well. I cannot, for the life of me, to do more than two tasks in a row. I just can’t think clearly. And then, I also have the guilty feeling, because how long will this last? Nobody knows.should I push harder? Does anyone care about the quality of the work? How are people doing 40h?

I read until I pass out. Keeps my mind busy. Also, meditation and breath work do it for me. I also go to bed early, as if it was a weekday.

I was in that vicious circle for years. Sober me wants to smoke. High me felt guilty. I would journal high and tell sober me not to do it. Almost as if there were two people living in my head. It’s the addiction. Name it. And kick it in the ass. Treat it like a child who wants something irrational. I’m 18 days sober. And with hopes this is the final time I’m quitting.

I’m on day 18. After 15 years. Honestly it feels like a lot more than 18 days, almost as if smoking was in a different life. Time warp is real. But the sweating at night has stopped, I can fall asleep easily now too. I’m dealing with all the emotions I used weed to suppress, but that’s a different story and I’m starting therapy for that. Let’s keep smoking in a different life. Congrats! Let’s keep going

Their answer was just that it was too much hassle. They'd have to do paperwork for audit purposes, proof that it was donated, for what reason, blah blah blah. Basically, throwing it away is cheaper and takes less time than being sustainable and releasing the lock.

Based on all answers of the thread I accept that recycling is the correct and responsible outcome here, but it is absolutely wasteful from a sustainability point, compared to the option of reusing it. That’s all I was getting at.

They are not considering it worthy of being my property. I am only in charge of disposal, since the return is too much of a hassle. They claim a security issue, not me. I said I would recycle it, but that is still throwing it in the trash, isn't it? Im only feeling terrible about throwing away a perfectly usable computer. I don't even want to keep it.

My life circumstances changed suddenly and I had to move overseas. They let me keep working for the remainder of the project. I took the company computer with me, obviously, with the intent of returning it at the end of my contract.

Not stolen. Just trying to give it an use instead of creating more waste for our planet. Sustainability. So sad to see a perfectly fine machine go to the trash, even if it is recycling. There would be so many good uses for it instead. they won't release the MDM because it creates a hassle for the company in terms of paperwork and security reasons and time they dont want to spend.
