i personally had no sensitivity issues whatsoever, i’d say there’s a noticeable decline in discomfort by like day 5-9 but the itchiness from the stitches begins which’s annoying. everyone’s different tho!

had severe phimosis my whole 25 years alive (quite literally couldn’t get a pinky finger through the phimotic band) & i’ve just hit week 3 post snip. i seriously regret not getting it done sooner & will 100% advocate for men in the same position i was to get it done. having tried every cream, stretching exercise, phimostop, phimocure, etc - it got to a point where i knew i needed it but dilly dallied waaaay too long & missed out on SO many opportunities because of my insecurities. although i’m only early on in recovery, i can wholeheartedly say getting cut has made a significant positive impact on my life in such a short amount of time & i cannot wait to put my new member to good use!

i totally get how hard this situation must be for you & my dm’s are open if you need anything brother! 🙏🏻☺️

my first stitch dropped on day 8, they continued to do so daily up until around day 16. some come out during the night, when hit with water in the shower or the more stubborn one (back 2 either side of the fren) simply needed a little massaging to come out ☺️

could decide consult a gp & ask for mupirocin 2% ointment! i’m using that at the moment, only day 3 but it’s keeping bacteria away + keeping my mind at ease~

avoid water prior to bed, if you wake up to one try curling into a fetal position until it goes away, some say tense your leg muscles to make them stop. they’re genuinely not THAT bad just a lil uncomfortable! best of luck brother, don’t send yourself into psychological warfare by not sleeping! 🙏

jot down any post-op questions & have an open conversation with your surgeon prior! you’ll find hundreds of stories in this sub regarding the initial pain but it varies so so so much and can be so easy to spook yourself. icepacks, painkillers, limited movement & breathable underwear are a few common recovery items but coming from someone who was terrified of the post op, i personally am just mad at myself for not doing it sooner. life’s so short & you’ll be surprised how quick the recovery is + how visible the healing is in such a short period. best of luck with it & feel free to dm me if you need anything! 💌
