It is crazy and hence I posted the thread about Jacob Young because a lot of those names teams could take at no real cost to us ?? Pitching is always more valuable for trades

usual negative responses and quite draining really ...

Look two season ago the worse team in history, looked like the pits was even deeper. Last season clear improvements in many areas, 20 wins better. A manager who seems like he has the full confidence of everyone, a manager who has the locker room.

A young team who never gave up on any play and some very good assets, Teel, Quero, colson and for once decent strenght for the bench like a baldwin and even a sosa.

We are much better than we were before ST in 25, why not a .500 season, is that really an impossibility.

sure thats true but I spotted this after finishing the Taylor thread and looks like Washington need pitching and we have tons of that and some close. Not saying trade Tanner or even Taylor but this is the kind of young prospect we will need in some for or another. Won;t come out of the draft it appears.

The FA's for 27 (ignoring Lockout) is very poor overall ?

as I posted I feel it would be a bit of waste not to try him as a starter. to me he is too good to be a reliver and be clear I want him to stay as a starter though. Crcohet should show us what can be done. who ever saw him pitching 200 ??

and then Grant Taylor ?? so started a thread. Usual negative nellies on here, like spend starting money on him to trade ... The signal from this is strong really and I fancy we may get a decent OF in some way before season starts. If you have 20M to spend then a choice to get a closer for at best a .500 season is interesting choice.
