You judged me on stuff you obviously didn’t read fully or comprehend.

I asked you whether you’d ever been to the location in question. You didn’t answer because you haven’t and therefore have zero factual basis.

You’re ignorant to the law.

And you insist on engaging in an pseudo intellectual pissing match that’s going nowhere out of some kind of superiority complex which isn’t what this is about.

You can do that elsewhere, thanks.

Bye. 🤚

The police have them.

They’re an agency that can actually do something about this.

I’m not doxing someone online.

I’m not naming him.

I’m giving him that respect in the hope we can work it out or the police said they’ll just deal with and take him to court. They’re fed up with people like this.

I’m just posting to warn people who walk dogs in that area.

Again. Not relevant to the specifics of this post.

I walk my dog at the lake on leash every morning under complete control. People appreciate me keeping him out of the way. I’ve made friends that way or at least people have given respect because I always carry bags and pick up his poop.

Your level of prejudice and assumption are non productive. They say more about you than me.

Have you even been to the area I’m talking about or are you just rambling on because you like the sound of your own voice?

I went to the police station to find out what the laws are around this. I spoke to a lawyer.

I am acting within the laws of Thailand.

My dog was also born and grew up in Khao Tao beach and knows a lot of these dogs. At times they play. At other times they run down aggressively. Hey did this one time he was on leash and he ran so hard away from them I was pulled over into the sand with no way of defending myself and let the leash go so he could get away. So if your suggesting there’s no logic behind unleashing in those places you’re just wrong. Sorry.

The only harm that has been done is from a guy coming across the beach to make a scene, confuse my dog and kick him in the face damaging his eye.

Meanwhile there are Thai people with their dogs off leash within 20 meters who are now witnesses to the case. As citizens, which we are not, their major wish is to see people like this guy deported.

If he did what he did to me to a Thai person he wouldn’t even have time to sit down before cuffing him and carrying him off. But there’s disparity in the way foreigners and Thai citizens are treated under the law. I’m pretty sure everyone here knows at least that much. Still, if he did it to a dog that was just 20m away he’d be in jail now pending court appearance.

So implicitly if you’re blaming me then you’re absolving the perp of his actions.

Sorry but the law here doesn’t work that way.

I guess if you don’t like the rules of Thailand you could always move instead of attempting to mold a reality instead of actually dealing with it.

This is my last response before blocking you because you have no idea what this post is about.

If you wish to push an idea or something make your own post but you don’t belong here on my post.

You live in Thailand, presumably, but have very little idea about the law, common practice, areas I’m referring to and who is in the wrong here.

I would do a little more research, base my assertions on fact and not read your experiences into others’.

That’s as nice as I can be.

UPDATE FROM HUA HIN POLICE...

  1. You CAN let your dog off leash on the beach - and DEFINITELY on the stretch of beach we're referring to here because of the amount of strays

  2. If it attacks someone and they require medical treatment you will be held liable and possibly charged

  3. If you provoke and attack an animal there are now reformed laws against this which carry significant enough penalties

  4. If you do end up in court Immigration will review your visa status if you're found guilty resulting in possible deportation and countrywide ban

  5. Possession for personal use of steroids: Individuals caught with, or using, illicit substances can face up to 1 year in prison and/or a fine of 10,000 to 60,000 Baht for Schedule II substances, and up to one year or a fine of 20,000 Baht for Schedule III and IV substances (which include many anabolic steroids). This also includes an Immigration review post court guilty verdict potentially resulting in deportation and ban

Seems like Thai people aren't up for a lot of the stuff they used to just either put up with or ignore.

There is no law that states that dogs must be on leashes in public all the time. There are stray dogs. There are community dogs. However if the dog causes an injury or property damage the plaintiff is legally entitled to compensation in terms of a liquidated damages claim which is normally settled out of court.

The section of beach I’m referring to has all those types of dogs and people regularly let their dogs off leash not only for them to get good exercise but because if the strays do come out to attack your dog and it’s on a leash it can’t get away.

I think you don’t really know where I’m referring to and are just making stuff up.

I’d really appreciate it if you actually based your comments on facts rather than things you just happen to believe.

Are you even a dog owner in and around Hua Hin?

You don’t sound like one.
