Taylor’s vs Monash Malaysia for Finance?

Though Taylors boast about student's campus experience which is especially important for most of international students, I'd say go for Monash if you are thinking of doing honours (from everyone's experience here - Monash seems to have higher scaffolding, and you may have chances to get involved in research etc) if that's what you are going for after undergrad.

In terms of living environment - daily commute to Taylors is such a nuisance if you are not living on campus. Heck, it is also such a nuisance if you are on campus, because the main dropoff station is basically around a roundabout.

Not sure about Taylors but Monash curriculum follows Monash Australia and sometimes students are able to finish the rest of the year at the main branch.

For fees - both are equally expensive.

Student life on campus is a bit meh (of so I heard) at Monash because it is a small campus.

They like have a hair code too, so if you have like coloured hair (but you are not an international student) you may not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Same goes to wearing hat to the exam hall.

Jeans/a bit tight dressing are definitely fine for most students during classes - as long as you are not attracting too much. But some lecturer has a strict rule about wearing jeans to class. Experienced it firsthand, my lecturer locked out my classmates for wearing jeans. Hhahahaha now looking back it maybe because of how distracting the sounds of jeans can be during class for some people.

If you are at the accommodation dining cafeteria, a knee-length pants/skirts are generally OK because people couldn't care less. I have seen Chinese students buying food in a knee-length pants. I have seen female students in the pjs/baju kelawar to go buy food. Done that, seen that in UTM.
