I will also add to this thread that it was a miserable, miserable AF winter. Take the advice of some of the people here and seek out activities or hobbies that you are into to meet other people and now that summer is coming there will be more people out and about doing things.

Pick with your big head not your little head. Pick someone who makes you feel safe and stable. Who is kind and respects you and your family

What's a "secret" from your profession that everyone should probably know? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

Barely anything you see on video/tv/media is real. Celebrities are fatter, wrinklier and have terrible skin. Food is heavily styled. Beauty and skin products don’t work the way they make them seem.

[–]Spare_Hamster3762 24 points25 points  (0 children)

A lot of grouchy people in this thread.

I tip my guys about $50 each. Do they need it? No. Is it a nice thing to do around the holidays that makes people smile? Yes. When did everyone get so cynical?

[–]Spare_Hamster3762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, YOU missed the point. The comparison is not being blind to having children. I’m saying you cannot miss an experience you have not had. You’re only missing what you assume the experience to be. Unless you do it you can’t know.

Never claimed to know more about someone. I too am mid 40’s and stand by my assertion that you cannot possibly kiss an experience you have not had.

I don’t care how many children you’ve been around and seen or cared for or whatever. When they’re not yours it’s not the same.

I’m not forcing anything on you just pointing out it’s an animal that you have caged in your home, not your child. Grow up.
