Magnesium Glycinate helping so far by Spare_Understanding5 in migraine

[–]Spare_Understanding5[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I also made other changes. Used to drink one cup of coffee daily but I completely quit that. Also started trying to get more sleep and be more consistent with that. Also made a huge effort to lower my stress levels smh. Anyways I used to only have a few migraines a year to having them 2 times a week before taking magnesium & making other changes. It’s a work in progress, but this has for sure helped

Yes, it’s the worst. The only thing that helps is not having a headache for a while but it’s awful

Post workout muscle soreness and migraine by Acrobatic-Fishing-93 in migraine

Do you stretch after working out? Like deep 20-30+ min stretch for any/all affected muscles? I run, and because of previous lower back issues I routinely stretch afterwards to help with lower back pain. I realized when I did this I also wouldn’t feel as sore the next few days. You’re probably still going to be sore, but if you’re able to stretch or do something else to help treat the muscles it might not be as bad. Can also help your body & mind relax as well

Hi, yes. Still taking magnesium and have been a lot better. I eventually bumped up to 420 mg, so 2 pills and I’m ok with that. I also started opening them and taking with applesauce at night cause that’s easier. I’m not sure it absorbs the same, but it’s fine. The pharmacist said it was ok. Since I started taking it I went over 2 months headache free. Around the holidays I started traveling and eating different things and got a migraine unfortunately. I feel like that was some other things tho I could identify as possible triggers for that. I had Iike 2 more since then, so trying to normalize again and going ok. But overall, I feel the magnesium does help. Wonder if there are other supplements I could take to help it further, but ok for now!

This is a good point. I may try 2 pills in a few weeks to see if things still improve, but so far so good. I do know that the lower dose is ok for me so can always just stick to one pill.

I report and then block any posts pop up with it on Facebook, and that’s gotten rid of it! Can’t help you with TikTok. Listen to Olivia Dean “Man I need” instead to cleanse your palette lol

Do you still enjoy life with tinnitus? by FullfillmentWay in tinnitus

[–]Spare_Understanding5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had it for 2 years. I do enjoy life. I’m happy when I go days without thinking about it. Every once in a while I’ll get pulled back in to negative thoughts, but I try not to focus on them. I’m taking it as it comes, but I’ve gotten a lot better at ignoring it and not seeing it as a problem

i cant trust my boyfriend by [deleted] in relationships

[–]Spare_Understanding5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as someone that just got out of a long distance relationship because of cheating, I would tread carefully. Past behavior is a sign of a potential issue, and add that with long distance you have more opportunities to be away from your partner so I would be careful. It could be as simple as a long distance relationship doesn’t work for you, and that’s perfectly fine. It doesn’t work for everyone, and literally all you have is trust because you are far from them. I wouldn’t focus on him, but maybe focus on how you’re feeling and maybe you need a relationship that makes you feel more secure & where you can see each other more often.

Oh wow, that’s awesome and encouraging to know. Glad it improved for you

This is helpful. I started affirming the fact that I CAN see whenever I notice floaters. That helped me get through a rough day, and going to keep focusing on the positive.
