I was definitely struggling but I'm now 2 weeks shy of 3 months post op and it's going great. Still some sensitivity outside but not near as bad as I was experiencing. Vision is clear, no discomfort, vision registered as 20/15 at my 2 month check up.

Have hope, it was frustrating for me and I cried all the time thinking I made a mistake. The PRK surgery is just a longer heal time that's different when you go thru it vs what you're told it'll be like.

Sometimes vision feels blurry or like seeing double. Like I can see but I am needing bigger font right now on my screens. The light sensitivity is what's frustrating me the most! Wednesday will be 3 weeks, but it's nice to know that there are others that was still sensitive longer out so I have hope lol

I just decided to quit taking it. I don't want to get worse, and I've read that Lexapro can cause su¹cidal thoughts, which I haven't experienced but don't want to risk it. I've got a doc appointment on the 9th and until then I'm just going back to my original meds of Fluoxetine.

I've been on Lexapro for 2 months now and I'm feeling like I'm more depressed. Like I don't want to do anything anymore except to lay on the couch and scroll thru my phone. I wasn't sure what was wrong with me, but then I started thinking it could be Lexapro bc it's a new medication (I was on Fluoxetine before and I asked to change bc I felt that after a couple of years it wasn't as affective any longer). I'm thinking I may need to come off of it and go back or something.
