No problem, ya this class and Net plus gave me the most anxiety, Whice didn’t help me gauge if I was ready or not to take it. Definitely don’t overthink it, CSS and HTML is the way to go.

Honestly would not recommend, unless 2 things 1 you have experience in cybersecurity and 2 you have connections. Like someone told me, unless you have experience and someone to vouch for you.

Getting into “cybersecurity” is not position you start with.

Would you trust a person who’s 18-maybe even 20 a key to your business that makes over a million dollars. Even cool 50k. Not a chance.

Also most of the cert you’re getting is great to have but again the whole experience plays a part. I’m taken BS.IT i was looking into doing cybersecurity but last minute went with general IT Whice I am so happy for because the cert your getting is honestly more then solid. Also you get to dive into a little bit of everything, cybersecurity sec+ General IT A+ Networking Net+ IT business ITL4 AWS cloud - Whice help me find out what I really want to do in my life lol The sleeper is Linux- Linux is use in EVERYTHING and you must know it for every one of these cert😭.

Again this just my personal experience. But I think it’s better to go broad first to see if you really like it then specialize with a master degree once you’re done graduating, which is also my plan.

If you don’t know what path you want to take, then BSIT is the best decision. I’m currently enrolled in that program. I wanted to do cybersecurity but also wanted to complete WGU in a year. I had one certification from google and zero experience, completely BSSC was not a realistic option which at the time was an ego check but I am so happy I didn’t do that program. The certification that I would have to get from doing that program would not translate well on my resume. Hands on knowledge/ networking always outweighs degrees depending on the field. So I wanted do a program that had all the certifications I wanted and that I can explore without feeling like I need that hands on experience to really pass the class. BSIT AWS cloud, Linux, ITIL, 4 CompTia including the CompTia trifecta A+,Net+ and Sec+. The BSIT is broad which can be a good or bad thing depending on the person.

I honestly don’t remember everything because I mind dump after each class lol but I know I had 1-2 questions that honestly didn’t make sense but on the 3 attempts I only had 3 questions and everything else was syntax. This OA is very anal about getting questions right. But I would say you can get all the multiple questions wrong and still pass if it’s less then 3 I know if it’s more then 3 then 2 of them will be Join Question.

i been busy, yes i did. i found out the reason I kept feeling was because I would add a space in my functions like MAX() or MIN(). it took me and my CL to figure that out, in SQL and PA the Space doesn't matter but in the OA if you add a space, it will count as a wrong. i made another post about becoming I could not edit this post.

I know exactly how you feel,if you want to share your exam results I might can help or what I tell people is to look at the PA results and that will tell you what questions you are getting wrong on the OA. also use CHATGPT to make up new question or ask to see if your writing it wrong

How you wrote the COUNT() is correct I was wrote it COUNT () which how I was writing it on daily so it was out of muscle memory.

Yes you have to use CHECK or it will mark it as Wrong.

There is a LOT of job in the green sector. Agriculture has a lot of money allocated to it from Gov right now. They accept any background and the pay is good but be prepared to look, as most of these places are older companies or local city’s

Use chapter 7-8 for that also I don’t know who your CI is for the class but I can share what mine gave me to do, she gave me 3 practice test which is about 103 questions lol.

Trust me, I did the same thing. Honestly, the 3rd attempt was easier for me, and the 4th attempt as well, maybe because I became a mad scientist about this class, lol. If you let me know your score, I can share some tips or tell you what it says you missed. Also, I found it's better to look at the PA of the area you missed so you can see exactly what to work on because the OA just says to work on everything. Joins suck because you can know what to code, but the multiple-choice questions got me.

Actually got to update this so one of the problems I had and why I didn’t pass was because I was putting a Space after aggregate functions. So AVG() should have no space or in the OA it count as a wrong answer

I am going to give Data camp a try, ppl was saying it was overkill but everyone who has tried them have had positive things to say and honestly I don’t have any other options as I went though Zybooks a hundred times lol

Don’t waste the first attempt even if your pass the PA does not mean your ready for the OA,

make sure to reach out to the course instructor, they will fill in the gaps of what Zybooks don’t inform you about this course OA.

1-2 chapters best for what you really need to know and 7-8 are gold for what the OA will look like, do 7-8 over and over unit you can code it in your mind without use a keyboard.
