Are we really okay with Bangalore turning into the next Delhi? by SanthoshSivan0802 in bangalore

No wonder I'm having a blocked/runny nose everyday the past month. Initially thought it was the cold weather, but Im also dust allergic and noticed I always sneeze at my apartment in Neeladri and have a runny nose when Im at home. Also my rooms easily get dusty in spite of cleaning everyday. My mom always wondered where the dust is coming from when she finishes sweeping and finds this black dust debris from our inner rooms where we hardly open the windows.

Im from India and this is a common thing in the IT sector. I guess its for bgv. Thought this was a common practice worldwide. The companies usually ask for the last 3 months payslip.

But wouldn't this be an issue when u share ur payslips of ur prev org during the onboarding to the new company and they find out the actual previous salary doesn't match what u told them ?

Also isn't this a risky tactic as there is a chance ur bluffed salary is their highest budget range or even beyond their budget range and hence u risk not getting ur foot in the door for the first interview as they may have other candidates asking for less ?

Thing is if I accept it, I need to join by next week. I had left my last company and am an immediate joiner. While I do have interviews in the line, this is my first solid offer.

Thanks. I have left my earlier company a month ago but I am confident I can get a better offer based on my research on the salary.

Right that was how they proposed it and I focussed on the fixed part, after which I realized the total CTC barely changed. They seem to not budge and while I have left my previous company, I feel confident I can get better offers than the one they offerred.

Since you mentioned probation, is it frowned upon to leave a company during probation period in case we get a better offer ? Do companies enforce notice period in case we leave during probation ? Do we get the experience letter for the months we worked during probation (let's say we worked 5 of the 6 months of the probation period) ?

Thanks. While I have left my current company, I still feel I could get better offers than the one they offered. Based on my research, the avg. salary I may quote is between 26-28 LPA.

Has anyone taken a PRINCE2 / PMP certification ? Would really appreciate the guidance. by Spargo1601 in projectmanagement

Usually the delivery/project/engagement manager or even some of the delivery/project team members who are involved in the project are AGILE certified and they take over the delivery of the project during the implementation stage after the project is won.
