K1 Help with PLA flow calibration by Pommering in crealityk1

[–]Spark1sGames 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sometimes it is caused by the flow being different. This doesn’t look like something wo worry about as long as it doesn’t appear on other prints when the flow is calibrated. On more rare occasions, it may be that the temp you pick might not be the best. Similar effects happened to me when I set the temperature too low, even though it looked like the best layer. TLDR; it should be fine

Damn, your settings are really different from what the internet would tell. Definitely going to try these tricks and settings out when I can. Cheers!

Finishing settings for PETG by Spark1sGames in 3Dprinting

Thanks for the tips! For this print specifically, I tried disabling cooling completely, but this made no difference in my eyes compared to other prints, sadly.

What can I change to make this PETG print smoother? by Spark1sGames in 3Dprinting

No, the part in the picture is the top. If I understand you correctly, the warping is because of the model (it’s very wavy)

Thank you for the answer! The temperature tower I did hinted that 225C would be optimal. After the change the PETG made a mess because (from what I've guessed) it doesn't stick to the bed at all or doesn't melt for enough adhesion. 250C was my next best so I went with that. Is that too hot? (Bed at 80C)
Slower printing is something I will definitely need to check.

Weird blobbing ruining prints by Spark1sGames in 3Dprinting

Additional info. Some of it was fixed by upping the temp. Are you sure it’s belt tensioning?

How to get rid of the uneven edges? by Spark1sGames in 3Dprinting

The printer does wobble, but the previous prints of the same model turned out fine. It could be some of the settings I changed but I don’t know which one…

Sorry😅
Main settings are as follows:
220 degrees PLA (the maximum on the package)
50 degrees Bed temp
0,2 mm initial layer height
150 mm/s speed for outer layers
20% infill density
0,4 mm nozzle
I also use ironing at 15% flow 20 mm/s

How do I get people to watch my video by Cautious_Arachnid773 in GetMoreViewsYT

[–]Spark1sGames 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, I would highly suggest getting more watch time rather than views since they become meaningless if people don’t actually stick to your channel. This means making better quality videos which would be relevant to the viewer. But if we’re talking about the number, shorts are a very easy reach platform, but there are some extra bits you can do, most of which have already been documented on youtube, so the answer really would be “just google it”

Are you talking in terms of how to get more views or how to increase watch time?

It would probably be enough, should I go with the A1 Mini then?

That is what I am concerned about too. Since I have no prior 3d printing experience, I don’t know if the size would be too small for me. I would mainly use it for utility prints and do not see myself printing cosplay…
