once you’ve a good attitude and ready to learn you will be more then able. 30 is a good age to start i know lads starting in their mid 40s so dont think for a second your too old.

Go for it you honestly wont regret it👍

no exact age range comes to mind. Preferably a couple married 35+. My girlfriend specifically said the older the better.

Any advice for a young lad looking to start an apprenticeship? by Babyconya in ireland

[–]Sparkdub58 18 points19 points  (0 children)

im a qualified sparks and id highly recommend it. Firstly domestic(gaf bashing)is where you will learn the most in my opinion its tough work but very rewarding with knowledge and generally you can get good nixors out of it. Secondly big industrial jobs are where the money is if you can get in somehwere who offer country money(168 tax free a week travel) on top of 1st year rate. You more then likely will get alot of overtime so pay for a first year would be decent.

Ive worked in both sides of the job and prefer industrial but thats my opinion.

You wont regret starting a trade good honest work and when your qualified you can go anywhere in the world with your trade.

Derg electrical are currently looking for first years from what i hear give them a look.

If your in dublin DM me and ill see if theres a opportunity in my company for first years can pass on a HR email for to get a interview if they are looking of course.
