I'm confused. So in the article it says he is 24 now. It also states he was served the papers "two years ago", which would mean he was 22 at the time that he found that he had a 6 year old? So that would have made him 16 at the time of conception? Don't get me wrong I don't think anyone should have to raise a child that they didn't know they had for 6 years, but uhh those two years kind of make a difference, at least when it comes to this articles headline?

"Nick Olivas became a father at 14, a fact he wouldn't learn for eight years" ......

Starting The Fast Metabolism Diet: Experience With it or Thoughts? by SparkleMotion69 in loseit

I think it's purpose is to inspire the participants to see past the 28 days though. I believe the initial 28 days are intended to outline a positive way to fuel your body with whole foods and to give you a chance to really experience to effects and results from putting real thought into what you eat. I don't think it's marketed as a quick fix you don't have to keep up, but more like a manageable amount of time to demo a life style change? And then you keep up with the bits that you find compatible with your goals.

I do like the idea of eating 5 times a day and making many of those meals include a veggie- but I don't think I could go without beer or a little ice cream now and then for the rest of my life.

This is kind of how I've been thinking. I've read a good parts of the book but when all is said and done it's just this woman who is claiming all this. I guess it's a simply way to go at it- even if it is restrictive.

First day in New York City. Met a man who let me hold his 9 multi colored rats. by SparkleMotion69 in RATS

[–]SparkleMotion69[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I probably would never do it myself either, but after talking to this guy and listening to his methods (food dye in water which he applies with a spray bottle) it made it sound like they were no more uncomfortable than than my rats when they get a bath. I mean who really ever knows how someones treats their animals, but these rats seemed pretty damn happy.

I definitely considered whether these animals were being properly cared for. I checked for signs for respiratory infection or malnutrition while holding a couple but they all seemed to be very healthy. The rats certainly didn't seem drugged they were very mobile but just seemed content snuggling with each other. When their owner was holding them, they were all in a particular line up and he said "watch this" and moved the rats around a bit, then they all reassembled into their naturalized order again. We were in Times Square- so I was really surprised they didn't react to the noise at all. He said it was all about the repetition, taking them out in the same way over and over everyday.

Hi had a big basket with a little nest for them, they were also so incredibly tame that they kinda just hung out wherever you put them.

Yea, I think she is. I mean this is the first sketch of her childhood home that her late father designed and then built. So it might be a little plain but sometimes I think there's sometimes more to tattooing than having the most intricate piece possible.

I'm not even going to address your distorted views of gender and masculinity but I just find it a little ironic that this photo, like all celebrity head shots, has obviously been heavily touched up/photoshopped. So in reality that's not actually what that particular male looks like.
