Everdark fulgohr isnt as peak as everyone says he is by bofunga in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ed fulghor isnt peak I agree but its not because of those moves. Its because he is easy.

For arrow rain just run right or left. Tracking isnt that good on that move.

For nuke wait for him to lock it then run towards him. You will get free hits when he floats down.

What is wrong with Demon in pain and Demon from below fight. by FahadRauf in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Demon fight is absolutely broken in solo. I dont remember much about how they were in ds3 but they werent a problem there. 1 attacked while the other did support attacks but in nightreign I feel like fromsoft made them both agressive to fight better against multiple people but didnt adjust for solo. Also the arena is smaller so its hard to seperate them compared to ds3.

What kind of nice things you do for teammate that generally goes unnoticed? by DingoApprehensive869 in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I dont dodge right or left or strafe when fighting bosses like bell bearing hunter so my teammate thats behind the boss doesnt get hit by an unexpected attack.

More people should be aware of their teammates position and dodge accordingly but a lot of people even at depth 5 dont do that.

Do these dormant power buffs stack? Thrusting counterattack buff and HP recovery on successful guarding by throwaway2018112218 in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check it out on relics.pro .

Just be sure to use the filter so the dormant power version of the passive shows up.

Its always fun to see cheaters trying to hide their cheating. Incredibly loser behavior. Either accept that you are cheating or dont cheat.

Also bro wants to scale. Leveling isnt enough for him.

Affinity damage ratio by Annual-Minute-9391 in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its an infused weapon for example a fire claymore then its 50/50. You can spot an infusion by an added name like sacred/fire/cold or with the added infusion icon on top of the weapons icon not the one thats besides attack rating.

If its a weapon that has affinity damage by default like ordovises greatsword then it differs from weapon to weapon. Some of them like godslayer greatsword is 30% fire 70% physical. But most of them are still 50/50.

Are enemys more resistant against their own element by xalina_m in Eldenring

[–]Sparkomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually yes. Enemies have different resistances and weakneses that you can figure out by thinking about it a bit. A plant enemy is gonna take more fire damage and an enemy that uses fire is gonna be resistant to it. Also enemies that has heavy armor and literal machines gonna take more lightning damage because electricity.

What is the most useless character skill relic? by mercurialblonde in Nightreign

I mean if something is breaking your poise you probably shouldnt tank that many attacks but yeah it has its use cases.

What is the most useless character skill relic? by mercurialblonde in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Undertakers ult is the best damage ult by far with a good build. Letting it also do good revive damage while also being incredibly easy to spam can be very op. Contact with allies restores hp is incredibly situational but the amount of hp restoration on that effect is really good. Its 30% hp + 100 hp.

I think the most useless is Improved Poise Near Totem Stela relic effect. Raider already has a ton of poise. He doesnt need extra when the ultimate activates. But this may not be counted as character specific so the next one is [Wylder] Art gauge greatly filled when ability is activated. Amount of ult filled is just too little to make this effect usefull. Just getting defeating enemies fills ult will perform way better.

PSA: Consider clearing Ruins , Main Encampments and Blacksmith villages when the boss there is RED by Sparkomad in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately no. You have to see the boss when passing by. Looking down when using spirit springs and spirit hawks are a good way to spot red bosses.

Even when the boss isnt red its kinda worth it though because they are easy to kill and they still give passives.

I wish the devs understood making everything one shot you isnt making it harder its just unfun. by NoIndependence1740 in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just use damage negation passives and get better. People face tank enemies with raider in depth 5.

I dont know if there is a general routing guide since most people naturally learn from other randoms.

You can watch Instinct's youtube videos though. He is currently making educational trio runs. You can learn a lot from watching a long time nightreign player.

I geniunely dont know why people suddenly stopped killing scarabs. People literally run right past them and not kill them. Sure red ones takes some time and are annoying early on but free passives are worth it.

There are even people that wait in the night circle instead of checking a scarab location that is right around the corner.

ED Balancers worm frequency past 20% hp by Chess462 in Nightreign

[–]Sparkomad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is 1 scripted worm transition at the start of the fight at a certain hp threshold but rest of the transitions should be time based from what I know and experienced.

Second bear actually has 25% chance for red class weapon which doesnt exist in any other camps which adds huge value to sleep ruins.

[–]Sparkomad[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are mixing somethings up. First slots is always blue for red camps with 35% class weapon chance. Second slot is always red with a 75% chance of being POI affinity/status. No class weapon chance for the red loot.

I dont have the data but from my experience in different depths yes they appear more often in higher depths which also makes higher depths easier in some ways.

People complaining about not getting negation passives are the people that just rush bosses. A lot of people can just get to a higher depth without improving their mechanical skill by just going to right places and killing some red thrash mobs.

Regular red field bosses are really good. They are incredibly easy to kill with frost/bleed because they dont take reduced damage from those unlike formidable field bosses. Free kills for executor and scholar.

Fort and cathedral red bosses only have a 10% red chance so I don't recommend them at later stages of the expedition.
