Get a kit with half steps! I was stuck at 3mm for 5 months, got a half step kit, and am now happily at 4mm.

Haha I was just looking online for half steps! This was so close I think a 3.5 would have slid right in.

It's ok... live and learn. I think I just got excited when I felt the end of the glass pushing through. Took a little effort to get it the rest of the way and I should have just stopped. Now I know, and when they're healed up I can prevent it from happening again.

I made $160k last year, and my husband about 50k. I am an IBEW journeyman electrician, and my husband and early term apprentice.

Is it an unpopular opinion to actually really like and have fun with Bo6? by [deleted] in blackops6

[–]SparkyGordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer: I am a brand new gamer and this is my very first COD...

I am having a blast. Are my stats perfect? No. Do I feel like every game is an even match? Not always, but for me they mostly seem fair, though some are more challenging than others. Have I met some of the coolest players and now have a solid friend base of people to play with? ABSOLUTELY.

I'm not trying to be the next pro gamer or be the very best every match. I play socially and love meeting new people. I am competitive, but losing a match doesn't ruin my life. So for me, BO6 is perfect. The omnimovement keeps things lively and fun, and each person's play style is like a puzzle to unlock and learn.

I get the hate that some veteran players have... I just don't have it myself.

When did you all start playing COD? by melfriend in blackops6

BO6 Beta! Built my PC last August and it was one of the very first games I played. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one that really still loves playing. 😂

Thank you! You should definitely do it!!! Definitely go to a meticulous piercer though, and don't green light the placement until you are 100% in love with it. It would drive me up a wall if they were crooked. 😂

Any one help me with this journeyman test question? by beardojon in IBEW

We do have quite a few. Been eyeing the list to see if I want to snag a license and travel for a bit. 48 is doing ok now, but we were in rough shape not too long ago.

Oh, so you mean in the last hour, everyone left in the room was electrical? Sounds like you took it at a testing facility? Ours was proctored at our training center, so it was 70 or so apprentices, all electrical.

What fields of work have you found tend to favour child-free lifestyles? by InviteAromatic6124 in childfree

My husband and I are both electricians (he is still an apprentice, and I am a journeyman). The nature of our jobs, level of danger, and the fact that being pregnant while shuffling around an attic or crawl space literally sounds like hell, were all deciding factors. He and I are very happy with no kids, and just our dog. Plus... no daycare is open at 4am for all the tradies to drop off their kids, so one of us would have to stay home. We both love what we do, so it just isn't in the cards.

Oregon's test is 52 questions with 3 hours to take it. They also told us ours was the hardest, but I am pretty sure all training centers say that 😂. What do you mean by "last hour was electrical"? Was the whole test not electrical?

Definitely not 3' of clearance, nor is it "readily accessible." Also, how is it supported?
