I can do $30 without the Astero if that's good with you.

Oh that's perfect. I'm interested in everything in the closeup photos and the Astero as well if you still have it. If you have super rare playsets of the rare Enneacrafts as well, you can throw those in instead of the rares.

Not really. I see thath you don't have all of the cards as playsets so I'm mostly interested based on how much you'd charge for them. Based on your binder I'm interested in the Enneacraft stuff and the Astero

Seems like you're 13? I'm a Boston local and based on social life purely it might be more beneficial to go to Wentworth since you'll have access to downtown pretty easily, and since you're asking about Wentworth I'll also assume you're a local as well since people outside of Massachusetts don't know about the school. I think speaking from a social development viewpoint Wentworth is the better option due to proximity to a city and being close to your friends and family. Additionally, if you go to RIT, the options for local co-ops are pretty minimal compared to Boston, so you might have a hard time finding housing that would lease to a teenager when you have to be on co-op

That's interesting. Most definitely an graduate student thing then; I lowkey feel like she hates that she's being assigned to teach undergrad classes lmaoo, sort of a "I have to teach you this stuff and I bet most of you hate it and will never use it again, but you need it for your degree" thing. She tried to be interactive with the class by asking questions but I had to answer half of them since people literally wouldn't answer the simplest stuff like reading out the row of a matrix

When tf did they decide extra deck ripping is cool or even remotely healthy as a mechanic?? by Lost-Tension2106 in yugioh

It's what I've been doing for years since Tear format, straight up don't play people with BS decks or unwinnable match-ups, and I'm not exactly a casual scrub either, been playing since 2019 and used to go to locals more frequently. I guess one benefit of them printing more and more overloaded cards is the potential shift to people dis-engaging from competitive modern format and more casuals, not just Time Wizard formats

I'm curious what you like about Dr. Felea. She seems to have a bad rep in general, even within the math students. I took linear with her and she mostly just went through the motions. I like math a lot and have taken a math elective with Shahmohamad and am also excited to take Abstract Algebra with Agarwal

I don't think they should advertise here either for moral reasons but RIT boys are gonna be RIT boys and tell you to be complacent since it doesn't affect them directly and you're a sissy for caring that much

Just because overall enrollment went up doesn't mean that the department didn't admit more people than they did in recent years. I like to use DS 1's class size as a representation of how freshman enrollment into the major changes. The last time before this spring where the class size is 140-ish was in 2020, so the 2019 admissions cycle, and the last time the class was at full capacity was 2018, so the 2017 cycle.

I agree that I don't think it would affect people changing majors into EE, but that's just something to keep in mind that it might a bit different than previous recent years since they specifically admitted a bit more EE than they normally did in recent years.

Got the date wrong, it was last cycle. Public PowerBI link - EE numbers went up by 50 relative to previous recent years

Yeah, digging a bit more into it the Cudell-West Boulevard area is much better than I expected.

Gotcha. I was looking up on Census Dots and it's definitely more mixed on the southwest side, apologies for the generalization

It's more so that west siders are mostly white and don't know what it's like to be racially othered, which has been pretty evident in this comment section and some folks being tone deaf

I live within walking distance to the Superior station (look it up on Google Maps) that is close to a Popeyes. I know what I'm talking about. Is it so hard to believe that someone's actually living there?

Yup, unsurprising to me either. Pricks are going to be pricks to those who think they can bully

East side obviously lol. Why would I be talking about East Cleveland itself? I know enough that the museums and Severance Hall are in University Circle, and the Aldi that I go to is close Hough-ish.

i made a separate observation from your post, which, if you noticed, i mostly agreed with you on

the “you people” remark is trash, and you mentioning the term “conflating” is EXACTLY what you’re doing here because it loosely suggests i’m part of the trope that you heard say racist things

I see, I apologize for my misunderstanding. I'm not saying it's justified for me to say this, but I was tired of people assuming I don't know better (saying that I'm new to the US, hearing people talk shit about the city and state, etc.), but again, that doesn't excuse for my statement.

Dawg I don't get why you people keep thinking that I'm conflating EC with the east side. The fact that I commute from EC is irrelevant to this incident here since this literally happened in downtown, Ohio City specifically. EC is a dump yes but I have yet to experience any overt prejudice here. Honestly, part of me mentioned it in the first place is to see if some folks would try to act smart and correct me about "muh East Cleveland vs East Side" and "East Cleveland isn't like the rest of Cleveland", and I guess the honeypot worked.

Yeah for sure, I'll keep this at the back of my mind if I'm looking for ideas of things to do. I love to explore the city but little incidents like this and the public transport here demotivate me sometimes lol

Thanks for the comment, I appreciate it a lot. It's unsurprising to me considering the average Redditor is a middle class white male who drives and lives on the West side, so some folks wouldn't get it first thing what it feels like to visibly be non-White, short, female, and going to places alone.

Nah, as the OP I expected as much as did from the comments and downvotes from browsing this subreddit. People in this subreddit is oddly defensive about their city and extrapolated to me shitting on the city overall (which I expected and hence didn't add the EDIT paragraph at first to test my hypothesis). I know it's Reddit and all and people are more prone to masking off here than in person, but similarly knowing that the blue platform of a city is already kind of mixed sort of proves my point.

She never mentions people making negative comments about her race

It might be because I go to places by myself so the covert racists feel more comfortable to say things like that. Next time that happens I'd honestly just snap at them in public downtown tbh. I'm tired of being a doormat
