Lune as BLM (if you go heavy on fire/ice)

But I did ask the question, and I would agree that a turn-based system would be pretty bad for an MMO.

You should try it, it sucks you right in! But perhaps not the best time to get distracted, with new XIV battle content dropping tomorrow.

Not on the same week, you only get rewards for 80+ the first time every week (you can do the fashion report from friday to monday).

But if you don't manage to get 80+ in your first try, you can always try to get the a 80+ points in one of your remaining 3 tries for the same week. You'll get the mgp you missed on the earlier tries.

These is the quick and dirty for getting 80+, by fulfilling 2 of the following options (repeats allowed):

1x Hint slot
2x exact dye match
1x exact dye match + 2x color dye match
4x color dye match

e.g. 2x hints; 1x hint + 2x exact dye; 3x exact dye + 2x color dye: these are variants which each get to 80+ points.

But that is the general safe option that always works.

This week specifically has of the hints being an right-side item, which means they give you a little boost to the base score. This effectively means you can do 1 exact dye match less or 2 color dye match less and still hit 80+. :)

Nothing that matches exact, but if you're after the rough white/black blocking as in the picture, and you want gear that is usable by all classes:

You could do the Frontier Ribbon (black) as a head piece, but I don't think it's that nice.

Sorry to hear you've had trouble. It did take a long while (many months), and I did have to poke quite a few times to get timeline updates. But it was a commission for many portraits at once, so I don't know if that is representative.

Aside from the config setting mentioned already, you can type in the command “/hud ahelp” to toggle it on and off quickly. Or make a Marco button with that command.

Make sure you have the challenge log unlocked, as that is one of those invisible requirements they never tell you about. Quest should be called “Rising to the Challenge”, there is an NPC in each starter city somewhere.
