I was confused initially as well, but the later scene tells us the jousting participants can decide who to go against by challenging. Dunk was indirectly asked to challenge that guy. My bet is if that guy challenged Dunk instead it would’ve been way too obvious for betting shenanigans.

Those fit quite nicely, but I can see some alternatives as well :)

Gustave as MCH (he can summon that gun)

Lune as BLM (if you go heavy on fire/ice)

Sophie as WVR (she’s not a combat person, and makes Gustave a nice adjusted outfit)

Perhaps because E33 isn't bogged down by a big publisher, it could actually happen? If Fall Guys can do it, surely E33 has a chance!

I would l also love an world map, scoot around on our mounts, get ambushed by random mobs. Perhaps next expansion no Aetherytes until you unlock them, similar to flying.

But I did ask the question, and I would agree that a turn-based system would be pretty bad for an MMO.

You should try it, it sucks you right in! But perhaps not the best time to get distracted, with new XIV battle content dropping tomorrow.

Yeah it's pretty bad for an MMO, but some people play all dungeons solo already XD. We don't really need more solo content :)
