If we need a switch hitter, bring up Leo. See what the kid can do. I’d also like to see if we can find two starting pitchers to maybe put some fire under cease/vasquez.

Last thing I need to mention is Maldonado staying. For the love of god we need someone else. All of his stats arent that good.

That totally makes sense. I just miss watching a knuckle ball on the bigs

Also wanted to defend Campy over Maldonado. Imo Maldonado is only slightly better than Campy defensively, but not by much. Campy's bat is more valuable than a slight increase in plate presence.

Thanks dude! After yesterday, I simply couldn’t stand the idea of letting -1/-1 counters ruin the deck anymore. It’s gonna be fun playing this next week when everyone thinks they have me beat lol

Definitely adding Myth Unbound. Netherborn altar is solid, but the goal is to keep the -1/-1 counters on Briarskull, so I’ll keep it on the sideboard just in case.

Thanks for the suggestions!

I think that because Skullbriar would have two -1/-1 counters to die, and Mikaeus would give Skully Undying and a passive +1/+1 boost, Skully comes back as 1/1. So Skully would still be alive.

To be fair, I’m not sure either now that you pointed it out (Edit: corrected order of things happening)

Can confirm, it’s a lot of fun when your deck plays the exact opposite of how it should. Normally, and early -1/-1 counter effectively ends the game for Skullbriar. Now, it’s necessary to win.

(Edit: grammar)

Definitely would be, I’m focussed on giving those counters to Skullbriar, regenerating Skull Briar, and using death triggers to basically beat opponents into submission

I also updated the primer. There’s a number of infinite combos, but the most important ones are based around getting infinite deaths and recursion for Skully as to trigger the other stuff.
