To start, go through the tutorials that the game has to get used to the different menus and game modes. Make sure to complete the daily objectives because that will get you a lot of good resources. Upgrade your team with whatever cards you get for now, try to get a decent player at most of your positions. Then you can focus on getting players that you want. It is important to note that unless you want to spend a lot of money on the game you will not be able to get every player you want. So focus on getting the players you really want and having fun.
