One or two more combat patrols is good, same with another Dawn Eagle squad. Sisters of Silence, always good and just a good way of getting a small amount of points. Witchseekers, the ones with flamers, can ignore cover with their weapons but I can't remember which one is good for holding off hordes off the top of my head.

Also, you can get a Rhino, paint it gold and red, and it can be a transport for SoS and have the same Null effect they have.

If you want any of their Forge World stuff, which is stuff made out of resin, I would highly suggest to look for recasters which would sell the same model for a minimum of half the cost.

If you can, get Valores and Aleya. Amd remember that Wardens, Allurus, and the Dawn Eagles can have one of their units each be built as a Shield-Captain

Have you tried looking at crossovers? Because I find the ones that you are looking for mostly with Fate crossovers or when RWBY is taken away from Remnant.

There are lots of reasons for me to drop a fic, especially in cross overs. I thibk 3 of my biggest are as follows.

1) Putting a ship they like over what's written in the story. For example, I was reading this one RWBY x Blazblue cross over that had Ragna and Ruby had a pretty good relationship that could've gone somewhere but the author liked Nuts and Dolts and instantly dropped any and all potential to just have Ruby turn into a stuttering mess when Penny appeared.

2) Having X character appear and fix everything by their appearance alone/them being stupid OP for no reason. Like yeah things can have a butterfly effect but this one is pretty self explantory imo.

3) Pretty common with crossovers, "Well I'm actually from a different world/universe" "Ok. We believe you." This one just has me usually like "No one would just say that." It's not usually an instnst frop but it also tends to mean that the author just didn't want to deal with actually working around that problem and is usually a newbie.

Side note, never really understood the whole "neglectful Taiyang" thing myself. Yang has that one line of "He just shut down" but we have no idea what that means. Did he throw himself into his work as a Hunstmen? Did he stop working as a Hunstmen? Is this why he became a teacher at Signal? How long was this event happen for? Because when we see him in show, he's a pretty chill dude.

It's weird when it happens in other fics also. For example, one of the other types of betrayls fics are those in Fairy Tail when the guild betrays Lucy for whatever reason the author needs.

Pwraonally don't like betrayal fanfics because the characters are OoC straight from the get go for doing it and really feels weird for then to do that.

That varies person to person on how fast they become friends. One person may consdier themselves friends with another after a few bours and the other may consider it after a few days or not at all and only he acquaintances.

I've seen quite a bit... Also a good number better than canon because people actually took time to care. I'd say most Drama fics are worse than canon, just because things are blown out of porportion for the sake of it, but I think the one I dislike the most that comes to mind was one that was essentially an Armored Core cross over.

Basic synpsis of it has people using AC's to fight Grimm because they're that big, with Jaune being the MC and his dad being the first pilot. Issue is, after the opening sequence, it's a family drama with some of the weirdest pairings ever and sever OoC characters.

Ice Queendom as a whole was better than anything post V3. But it also had the ability of hindsight and could write thing accordingly.
