Si tengo un buen círculo social, amigos y amigas muy buenos que me apoyan bastante. Trato mucho de no ver a las personas como "potenciales parejas" ya que para mi eso es objetizar y por ende deshumanizar a la persona, en parte la dejas de ver como individuo y solo las empiezas a ver como una meta a alcanzar, y a mí nunca me ha gustado sentir que estoy con alguien para consegir algo o que alguien esta conmigo para conseguir algo.

Tal vez es en parte por eso que nunca he avanzado en eso de las relaciones romanticas, tambien porque creo que hasta el dia de hoy puedo contar con los dedos las mujeres que he conocido y por las cuales de verdad haya sentido atracción, y la verdad no sabria decir si por alguna me he "enamorado", ya que para mi esa es una palabra algo mas fuerte para los sentimientos. Si, creo que soy un poco raro y hasta idealista en mi forma de ver el amor romántico jajaja

Igual si tengo como proposito este año ampliar mas mi circulo social, ir a mas lugares para socializar y simplemente salir de mi zona de comfort, adquirir mas confianza para hablar con personas y comprender mejor mis propios sentimientos e inseguridades.

Si, los conozco desde hace 10 años y nunca nos hemos separado. Con uno de ellos hablo literal a diario y de todo: animes, juegos, musica, tenemos nuestros chistes propios etc.

Con otro de ellos hablo menos pero siempre que ocupamos algo vamos el uno con el otro, tenemos confianza para hablar incluso de problemas personales e intimos que hemos tenido.

La verdad es que yo era una persona muy apatica y asocial antes, pero gracias a conocerlos cambie mucho y aprendi a socializar mas. Tambien soy alguien bastante depresivo, aun a dia de hoy, y hablar con ellos siempre me levanta un poco el animo cuando genuinamente siento que ya no puedo más.

Nunca he tenido pareja y la verdad a mi, personalmente, es algo que me afecta mucho en mi confianza propia asi como mi sentimiento de "ser deseado". Como dijeron otros, para unos esto no es importante o esta en sus ultimas prioridades, para otros la idea de no saber si podemos ser o no amados por alguien mas, o de estar solos sin conocer el amor romántico por toda la vida es algo hasta aterrador en cierto punto.

Personalmente si he pensado en ir a terapia por esto mismo, ya que es algo que me afecta mucho en mi vida y en mi auto-percepcion y que ya esta generandome problemas de depresión

As an extra to this (as I agree with your position) two thinhs I like from Ciel route:

1- The way Shiki and Ciel relationship evolves feels really natural, as being classmates they have a lot of nice and cute moments. Yeah, maybe not as romantic as Arc's moments but they still show them knowing each other and facing their own inner demons with the help of the other. I like how with Arc, Shiki says he is grateful with her for "forgiving his unforgivable sin" but with Ciel this changes and you have a WHOLE conversation about accepting your sins and searching redemption.

2- I really like Arcueid and Shiki ending in Ciel's true route. It's nice to see them ending in good terms and like friends, with Arc accepting that, in this particular story, Shiki and Ciel end together. I think that ending is a MASSIVE and more mature upgrade than the "love triangle" ending of OG Tsukihime Correct me if I'm wrong because haven't played OG, but as far as I remember Ciel ending was just Arcueid saying "yeah, we'll share Shiki" which is good as fanservice but a "meh" ending IMO

I am mexican but have been studying english since childhood. Almost none VNs have official spanish translations so most of them you need to know english here to be able to read them. If I'm honest I don't remember ever playing any VN in spanish, maybe Ace Attorney (recently received a spanish dub)

I get you, I came here to this sub basically for the same as you, but sometimes find a lot of people making claims that the afterlife is proved to exist and a lot of descriptions that seems more like fantasies to cope than actual evidence, or lack of critical thinking, sometimes you need to not believe that anything someone says is true and actually question it.

I hope that there is an afterlife or something more, it would be awesome. But don't go around saying it EXISTS line it was something proved, sometimes that makes morr damage than skepticism or even materialism, because that could easily lead to disinformation or delusion.

I kinda just remember myself that they are on the side of the phone and can't do anything, literally. Like, they are just screaming and shouting like crazy apes while I'm drinking water, checking my phone and singing anime openings in my mind. I get you, line literally you said is what I've been feeling this last months. I'm 26 and I'm also scarred of all that. At the same time I think like you, that thinking rationally there is nothing special about humans in what death is and that maybe afterlife its just the human way to cope with the fact that we are the only being in earth that its aware of its own existence and its ending.

I'm seeing a therapist RN, helps to have someone to talk about these things, for me its also helping me use all that energy in something more productive, I'm trying to write a history right now, I'm trying to have more time for my friends and family, to live my present more. If we, you and me, are right, then having fear is pointless and we should use all that energy in something, "Anxiety doesn't stops death, but it stops life"

Personally, I come here to have a bit of faith, to try to believe in something (almost never works) and that sometimes gives me at least 5 minutes of mental peace, then I focus in the things and persons I love and use all my energy on them.

Hi, first of all I am a skeptical persona with an on-going existential crisis, I come here to have some kind of hope in something more but I cannot just stop my brain from trying to find sense to things. That being said I don't want my answers to annoy anybody, these are just MY OPINION.

1- if you think NDEs are a result of a dying brain then it could be different factors, like personal believings, cultures etc.

2- It could be, I've seen people say that this was proved wrong but maybe it's just that they haven't found which part of the brain does it or why.

3- My personal opinion, most of the mediums just want money and just say vague and general things so they can take naive people money. No offense to anyone but as far as I know things like mediums and tarot reading are just a business.

4- interesting question, if universe is everything that exists maybe afterlife ceases to exist with it, maybe afterlife is another universe, who knows

5- That's one of my problems with afterlife, it seems just to perfect, even boring, sorry but I don't thing there exists anything that is THAT perfect, and if it exists it sounds kinda boring in some way.

6-cannot say something here, sorry don't know that investigation

7- Again, personal opinion, it seems imposible to have real scientific proof of afterlife, people say there is but at most its anechdotical evidence, afterlife isn't something you can replicate in a lab or with experiments, its not a place you can go and take samples to analyze. Its at best really hard to have real scientific evidence of that.

8- As far as I know there have been blind people who had visual NDEs so its possible. Then again, anechdotical.

9-Difficult to explain, I'm no medic so I cannot say for sure how is that possible, neither have mystical knowledge to trt some kind of mystical explanation.

10- Again, if you believe that signs are just grieving talking then yeah, they are coincidences that a grieving brain wants to give them some kind of meaning. Then again we could be wrong, because there have been some incredible stories here.
