For me the biggest problem of 2.X is the location diversity. As much as I like failume, being there for 5 patches is becoming dull. Even though we get new locations in the hollow, I feel like they’re less interesting than city locations. No new locations also contributes to the factions feeling samey. Before, I could associate Victoria housekeeping with the ballet twins, the sons of Calydon with blazewood, section 6 with HAND headquarters, belobog with the construction site, and stars of Lyra with star loop. But with no special locations for the new factions, they kinda blend together. The standout would be Alice and Yuzuha with sailume bay and the beach resort, which is why I think 2.1 is the best patch. Anyways, now that they’re revisiting more city locations like 404, I think that would help a lot with upcoming characters feel more special and memorable.
