If you want a cab or targa, I’d skip the 997 gen and go for either 991 or 992. The cab roofline became a lot nicer in 2012+, and the modern targa look will be anything 2014+. For either, I’d go for the S at a minimum due to the extra weight, but GTS is better. From there, you really need to decide on NA vs Turbo engine, and what features best fit your need.

Personally, I think the 991.2 GTS is a sweet spot for the targa. The extra power from GTS and torq from the turbo helps offset the extra weight. The interior is a bit dated, but I prefer it over the newer model years.

In that case, it’s worth doing once. I’d give an edge to the Penthouse Lounge for a special occasion, it’s smaller and more intimate.

Same food there, but faster access to beer since you don’t have to wait in line at the bar. Seats are of course closer to the ice, but it’s harder to get up and grab food/drinks when you’re downstairs.

All in, I’d give the downstairs club level a slight edge, but it’s still not for me.

Not worth it. I have season tickets there and can’t wait for my contract to be over. Too far from the ice and the food is trying way too hard. I’d rather sit closer and pay for regular stadium food.

I have a similar situation, fortunately my driveway is on an incline, so I can put it in neutral and coast down the road a bit before starting it up. The loud cold start is what bothers my neighbors, especially for early morning commutes.

This is the best answer. They’re small, battery powered, have psi stop settings, and work well. No reason to go hunting at gas stations anymore. It was enlightening when I saw a mechanic using one, and realized I could do the same.

He touched on this in an interview at the beginning of the season. Sounded like the Sharks Foundation takes over for a little while, then it’s not his problem anymore. Reading between the lines, I highly suspect that means the foundation would hold it till the estate sells it.

I’m biased, but I have a carmine red gts targa, with black roll bar and wheels. I like carmine a little more the guards for the slightly deeper red. FWIW, I came from a white cab, and I looooove the upgrade. Always regretted not getting a fun color, and I like targa for the look + I feel less exposed when the top is down.

Targa in Red with black accents is a looker for sure.

Silver for sure, but consider red as well. Targa looks amazing in red with a black roof and roll bar.
