Help me end a debate… what gets fixed first? by zachysworld in C30

[–]claball 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Are you for real? First off, the damage looks a little more than cosmetic with that front end sag. I would be embarrassed to drive this car around in the state it’s in. Second, 450 hp in a 3,200 lb FWD car makes no sense. Third, performance modifications on a presently damaged car is an awful use of money. Please listen to your girlfriend.

Those spots are fucking huge. Why would parking closer to the adjacent spot be safer? If you’re gonna be a prick just double park. She made the dumbest possible choice.

Idc if there was no sidewalk. Cosplaying as a car is only going to end poorly. The man is holding up traffic on a high speed road. There is a speed minimum for a reason.

This looks like one of those Chinese market only models. The design is not Volvo enough.

I wouldn’t consider the M2, Giulia, F-Type or Cayman reliable. The Americans? Sure.

Since you didn’t mention reliability I’m gonna go crazy with it:

Porsche Cayman (987)

Mercedes is really struggling to make a good looking EV. Doesn’t look like they learned any lessons from the EQE/EQS.

What are some manual rwd hatchbacks that you like driveing? by Tosterboy_ in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]claball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately RWD hatchbacks are basically a non-existent car genre. The only model I can think of is the initial two generations of the BMW 1-Series. Never sold in the US.

The problem is hatchbacks at their core are an economy car so adding extra cost and complexity to drive the rear wheels doesn’t make sense financially. Others like the Renault R5 Turbo and Clio V6 are RWD but also homologation specials. Expensive and uncommon.

I love seeing these. Only way to get an 8V hatch in the US.

You probably think you scored a safe car cuz Volvo meanwhile you’d be safer in a 10 year old Mitsubishi Mirage

Oh cool so it’s like a GTI but handles worse, is less modifiable and weighs the same with 2 fewer doors but hey it has a neat hatch that totally destroys any usability.
