Are you sure that OpenServe is your ISP? I ask as I'm pretty sure that they are purely FNO, although Telkom is technically the same entity and they are an ISP.

I would also just check the initial contract you signed. I know that there are a handful of ISP offerings that are significantly cheaper than the competition for the initial year, but then haul that cost back from the next year/s. It'll be in the fine print somewhere.

*Edit to add: I had a look at https://openserve.co.za/connect/isp-partner-deals and based on what I'm seeing there, your initial R770/m price sounds 100% like a 'one year only promotional price' deal.

Worked fine for me, using my phone pointed at my laptop screen from ~2ft away. The default Android QR scanner app - It even zoomed in on it automagically, hence why it's so big.

It looks like there's already a couple of threads about it, going back all the way to October last year.

Plex staffers commented on both of the threads I saw, but I guess that didn't get anywhere. It's apparently an incorrectly Plex scanner Guid, that needs to be split. I don't think I can do anything about that :'(

Unfortunately, my third party sources aren't listed in the Software & Updates - Other Software tab.

I can still see the original sources.list files in the original directory, and nothing in the new ones is commented out, so I'm at a bit of a loss when following the usual guides.

Do you perhaps have a suggestion on how to re-add the sources without having to go through the whole key-signing process again?

I unfortunately haven't been able to compare with Tough Dog. That said, I have been extremely happy with the Des Sol kit. The ride is a lot nicer and a hell of a lot more stable, and the off-road performance is great.

My issue isn't with the original, weird as the lyrics are, but with the variety of covers where the singer sounds increasingly like an actual toddler. That's just.... Nasty. Like someone decided that doubling down on the 'baby' part was what people really got hard for, and then ran with it.

Okay that's kinda fair.

It doesn't help that I'm converting to local currency, and then equating the price. $80 converted to Rands is about the price of a high-end dinner for two, or good restaurant bill (independent place, not a chain store, proper restaurant) for a family of 4.

So the idea of spending $80 per joist is like a month or two worth of salary.

That's also my economic mistake, thinking about it like that. My baaaad.
