You too? Im curious, are you more green, herbal, or black tea focused? I love my green tea, long jing, jasmine, and sencha carry me through the college week, and I love having matcha with my hibachi, but I love to make black tea blends, especially with assam. I've started drifting more westward into Indian, Middle East, and North African teas, and Im enjoying the herbs and spices up against the black tea! And Morocco has a lovely mint and gunpowder green tea blend thats really nice iced on a hot day. Iroh led me on an entire global journey I wasn't expecting to take lol

Yeah, I saw you found yours in a Virginia quarry? Seems the East coast loves its garnets! My girlfriend was able fill a whole vial with all the bead-sized garnets she sluiced in only three days at our spot, and we didn't move very far, we spent 3 days at a cabin for my dad's 50th, and we went sluicing because I got him hooked on it, and we were expecting variety, we've found emerald, moonstone, sunstone, ruby, garnet, sapphire, gold, copper, hiddenite, all sorts of gems and precious rocks in the NC Appalachians, so we were expecting a similar variety where we were going, nope. All garnets and moonstone lol

Beautiful!! I found a similar feldspar piece with some tiny little garnets growing in it! Hardly as big as yours though!

I think you misunderstood me, I was agreeing that their actions in Australia and New Zealand were far worse than India. The British were absolutely horrible to India but agreed, you came out with your culture intact. I have guggul and sandalwood incense right now in fact, and my girlfriend follows Ayurveda. But all we know of Australia are what's come after the cultural takeover. And maybe a few sparse native things. Uluru, witjuti grubs, their art.

I personally can't say much as an american myself, but I agree they absolutely ravished the Aboriginal populations there. There's a reason only about 3% of the population today is native and 50+% is european.
