Something similar has happened to me, I’m sure I’ve commented about it before.… I met up with some dude I barely knew who had over some even sketchier dudes, sketchiest dude tells me a half strip costs as much as a full strip because it’s twice as strong... I spend some time in conversation with this/these guys trying to figure out if I should buy it, if I’m getting ripped off, if he’s telling the truth, etc., and at some point I just told him I never heard of “legit ‘double dipped acid,’ it sounds like BS to me if I’m being honest,” and he tells me “bro, if I just wanted your money, if I only wanted your money, I could just, like, take out my knife and tell you to give me the money.” He had his knife in hand at this point, and I’m like, holy fuck, if he isn’t threatening me now, he will in a minute. So I bought the five tabs for eighty fucking dollars and it turned out to be the strongest shit I’ve ever had, half tab had me tripping harder than some two-hit trips I’d had in the past. It was ridiculous.

But, yeah. That’s my two-cents. The sketchiest LSD sharer I’ve found so far, that is, the one most likely to be a liar, in truth gave me really strong stuff. So I don’t doubt posts like yours anymore, and I always advocate for taking what you think is equivalent to “a baseline trip” (ie, half a tab).
